12 jobs, in the order we would do them. Everything marked Fix in Strapi goes live as soon as you publish the record — no developer, no deploy.

10 to fix · 2 to decide
1

Four old copies of the sector pages are still live, and they show different figures

Fix in Strapi 4 pages

Why it matters

Each sector page exists twice. The current version sits under /sectors/ and is the one your menu links to. An older copy sits at the top level of the site, and nothing links to it. Google sees two pages with the same heading and has to guess which one is the real one.

The old copies also carry different market figures. The old Agrochemical page says “USD 449.9 Billion” where the current one says “USD 1.8 Billion”, so a visitor arriving from Google can read a number you no longer stand behind.

Where to change it

Strapi → Redirects (Source = old address, Destination = new address), then unpublish the four old pages

/irrigation-and-greenhouse-equipment/
/sectors/irrigation-and-greenhouse-equipment/
/equipment-for-agricultural-products-storage-and-processing/
/sectors/equipment-for-agricultural-products-storage-and-processing/

Copy the addresses exactly. The first old address is spelled agriculture while the current page is agricultural. Use the table above rather than typing them.

Skip the descriptions we suggested in August. The 18 August report suggested descriptions for these four pages. Please leave those out: the pages are being retired.

2

Two partner and sponsor links no longer work

Fix in Strapi 2 links · 43 and 42 pages

Why it matters

Both logos appear in blocks that sit on dozens of pages, so each broken link is repeated everywhere the block is shown. A visitor who clicks a partner’s logo expecting their website gets an error instead.

Where to change it

Strapi → the partner or sponsor entry → its website link

Please check with the sponsor. It may only fail from outside Russia, but it also failed when we opened it in a normal browser.

Two more to check from Russia. We could not open these from our location, so please check them before changing anything. The “View Exhibitor List” button on /why-visit/ goes to the ITE exhibitor catalogue, which refused access. The “View Website” button on /y-and-h-cargo/ goes to yhcargoindia.com, which never finished loading.

3

Three “thank you” pages are showing up in Google

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

These are the confirmation pages people see after filling in a report form. They tell the visitor the report is on its way by email, so someone who arrives from Google gets a confusing message and no report.

Ticking No index tells Google not to list the page. The sitemap updates itself on the next publish, so nothing needs a developer.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page → SEO → tick No index

Two wrong page titles: one borrowed from the homepage, one with a typo

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Why it matters

The title is the blue clickable line in a Google result. The 30th-anniversary article is showing the homepage’s own title there, which means Google now sees two pages with the same title.

/advertising-opportunities/ is missing a letter in “Opportunities”, both in its Google title and in the big heading at the top of the page, so the typo is visible to every visitor.

Where to change it

Strapi → the article → SEO → Meta Title; and for the advertising page, the page header title as well as its Meta Title if one is set

Ten pages have a missing or placeholder description

Fix in Strapi 10 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in a Google result. Without one, Google picks a sentence from the page at random, which is rarely the one you would have chosen.

For the photo galleries the easiest place is the gallery’s short intro text. Whatever you type there appears under the gallery heading and also becomes its Google description, so one edit fixes both. That field is empty on six galleries and says only “YugAgro” on the 2025 one.

The suggested wording below is a starting point. Please read it over before publishing, because it goes out under YugAgro’s name.

Where to change it

Five page titles are cut off in Google

Fix in Strapi 5 pages

Why it matters

Google shows roughly the first 60 characters of a title, so anything longer is cut off mid-sentence in the result. The heading on the page itself can stay exactly as it is.

The suggested titles are a starting point. Please read them over before publishing.

The footer icons and the homepage banner are links with no name

Fix in Strapi 2 icons · 1 banner

Why it matters

The alternative text is a short written description of a picture. A screen reader reads it aloud to a blind visitor, and Google uses it to understand the image. When the picture is also a link, it is the only name the link has. Right now the LinkedIn and YouTube icons in the footer, which are on every page, and the homepage banner have none, so each link is announced as nameless.

While you are in the footer. The LinkedIn link still begins with http://. Change it from http://linkedin.com/company/yugagroexpo to https://www.linkedin.com/company/yugagroexpo.

We are adding a safety net. We are also making the site fall back to a sensible name for these links, so they cannot go blank again. It is a safety net, not a replacement for a proper description.

Thirty-one images inside page text use their file name as their description

Fix in Strapi 31 images

Why it matters

This happens when an image is dropped into the text editor without filling in its description, so the file name is used instead, for example “2.jpg” or “Untitled design (5).png”. A screen reader reads that out loud and Google learns nothing from it.

Replace each one with a short sentence about what the picture shows. The advertising page is the biggest job, with 11.

Compress the oversized page images

Fix in Strapi 112 images · about 29 MB

Why it matters

Every visitor downloads these at full size, including on a phone using mobile data. Large images are what slow the pages down, and Google counts page speed when it decides where to rank you. The site cannot shrink images by itself, so they need re-uploading at a smaller size.

As a guide, aim for under 200 kB, and no wider than about 1920 pixels for a full-width banner or 1000 pixels for anything else. About 30 of the 112 are over 300 kB. The worst are listed first.

Start with the ones used on several pages. Re-saving Yug_connect_background_website once improves four pages at a stroke, and Yug_Article and YAG_Article_image each appear on two or more.

The gallery photos can wait. The 261 gallery photos (38 MB between them) are not part of the 112. We are checking whether the galleries can show smaller copies automatically, which would save re-uploading them by hand. Please do not start on them yet. The full list of 112 is available on request.

One field on the visitor registration form has no label

Fix in Strapi 1 form

Why it matters

The email field on the visitor registration form has no label of any kind, so a screen reader announces it as an unnamed box and a visitor using one cannot tell what to type there.

The form is supplied by your registration provider and placed on the page, so the fix is on their side rather than in Strapi. Please ask whether their form builder can add a label to that field.

Where to change it

Your registration form provider → the form builder for /visitor-registration/

The orange on your buttons is just short of the readable-text standard

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

White text on the brand orange is harder to read than it should be, especially in bright light or for people with weaker eyesight. The widely used accessibility standard asks for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for normal-size text. The orange used on your buttons (#e34e00) measures 3.92 to 1.

It affects every orange button on the site, such as “About YugAgro”, “View Brochures and Reports”, the “Download …” buttons and the form submit buttons. A slightly deeper orange fixes all of them at once, but it changes your brand colour, so it is your call.

Where to change it

Tell us which shade to use. It is a single colour change on our side

OptionColourContrast with white
Keep the current orange#e34e003.92 to 1
A slightly deeper orange#d047004.58 to 1
A deeper orange still#c945004.84 to 1

What we need from you. Tell us whether to change it and, if so, which shade. If you would rather keep the current orange, no action is needed and we will leave it as it is.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

Four pages that nothing on the site links to

They are live and in Google, but no menu, button or page points to them, so visitors can only reach them from a search result. Either add a link (menu, footer or a related page) or retire them if they are no longer needed: /matchmaking/ (its heading still says “New Matchmaking Service for YugAgro 2025 Participants”), /terms-of-visiting/ (usually belongs in the footer), /indian-exhibitors/ and /brazilian-exhibitors/.

Eleven page titles use under half the space Google gives them

About ITE, Y&H Cargo, Media Gallery, the seven “YugAgro 20xx” galleries, Why Visit YugAgro?, Advertise Your Stand, Brochures and Reports, Industry Insights Hub, Do Brasil para a Eurásia, YugAgro News and Insights, and Our Partners and Sponsors. Adding what the page is about plus “| YugAgro” helps them stand out in search results. Nothing is broken, so this is your call.

Nine descriptions are a few characters too long

They run 156–159 characters, just past the point where Google may trim them. Cutting a word or two from each is enough: the homepage, /download-post-show-report/, /plan-your-travel/, /visitor-registration/, /sectors/agrochemical-products-and-seeds/, and four articles, “Adapting Machinery Pitches…”, “Agroprobeg-YugAgro…”, “Shveytsov: Don and Kuban…” and “Water-Efficient Irrigation Systems…”.

Blank lines formatted as headings

Several pages use an empty line set to a heading style to add space, which search engines read as an empty heading. Examples: /sectors/agrochemical-products-and-seeds/, /sectors/irrigation-and-greenhouse-equipment/, /articles/meet-key-agricultural-decision-makers/ and /articles/russian-sunflower-oil-exports-to-india-rise-in-early-2026/. When you next edit a page like these, set the blank lines back to Normal text.

Article sub-headings

Some longer articles have no sub-headings at all, or use the smallest heading style for them. Using Heading 2 for main sub-headings gives Google a clearer outline. Do this when an article is next edited; it is not worth going back through old ones.

Buttons that say only “Read more” or “Learn more”

On /plan-your-travel/ (three buttons) and /about-yugagro/ (two buttons). Labels like “Read about visas” or “Why exhibit” tell Google and screen-reader users where each button goes.

About 40 article headlines run past 70 characters

This only matters on new articles. Leave existing ones alone, because their web addresses are already in Google and changing a headline can change the address.

On our side

What we are handling

Found in the same review, but ours to put right. Since 18 August these have shipped: the footer’s old http:// links are gone, search engines can now follow the main menu’s drop-down links, the homepage’s event details no longer appear on every page, no page borrows the homepage’s description any more, the security certificate is now served complete, and the header that forces a secure connection is in place. Hiding the two internal demo pages, which was on your 18 August list, is now ours. In the browser pass every page loaded, no page crashed, the mobile menu opened on all 141, and the reCAPTCHA on the forms renders.

No action needed from your team

Older articles cannot be reached by following links: the list puts only the first 30 in the page and hides the rest behind the Load More button, which a search engine cannot press. We are adding real links behind it

What happens now

Start with the old sector pages and the partner links

The four old sector pages still show market figures that disagree with the current ones, and the two broken partner links repeat on dozens of pages. Add the redirects, unpublish the four copies, then fix or remove the two links.

Then titles, descriptions and image descriptions

Tick No index on the three thank-you pages, fix the two wrong titles and the five cut-off ones, write the ten descriptions, and name the footer icons, the homepage banner and the 31 images in text. Apart from the image sizes and the two decisions, that is about half a day.

Treat image sizes as ongoing

Start with the images that appear on several pages, aim for under 200 kB, and compress new uploads as they come in so the backlog stops growing. Leave the gallery photos for now.

Two decisions from you

Whether the two articles stay, and whether the brand orange gets a slightly deeper shade. Reply to this report with your answers and we will action both.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes, we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

This review was carried out on 1 October 2026, and it had two parts. 141 pages from your sitemap were loaded in a real browser and checked for layout and errors, with the internal /components/ demo page left out, and a search-engine crawl covered all 142 pages in the sitemap. Phone-sized checks covered every one of the 141 pages, and the accessibility check ran on 47 of them, one of each page type, so a shared part of the site such as the footer or the sponsors block is reported once but applies wherever it appears. The browser check raised 292 individual flags. Each was looked at, and the real problems are in this report; things that turned out to be fine are left out. Each page was loaded once, so this lists what we found, which is not the same as every page being free of problems. Suggested wording is a starting point — please read it over before publishing and change anything that does not sound like you.
