Six country pages show a raw message code where the registration box should be

Fix in Strapi 6 pages

Why it matters

Each of the six country pages carries the registration box under a banner that reads “Бесплатный билет на выставку по промокоду WFMCIS”. With registration closed, the box prints its internal message code, REGISTRATION_IS_UNAVAILABLE_TEXT, instead of a sentence. It is the first thing a visitor from one of these markets reads.

Until registration for 2027 opens, replace the box with a short “registration opens soon” text, as the main Visitor Registration page already does, and hide the promo-code banner.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → the country page → the form section (a raw-HTML block) and the promo-code banner above it

  • /azerbaijan/
  • /belarus/
  • /kazakhstan/
  • /kyrgyzstan/
  • /turkmenistan/
  • /uzbekistan/

Tell the registration provider too. The box is supplied by your registration provider, and showing a raw message code instead of a sentence is theirs to fix. It is worth telling them.

About 35 page titles and descriptions in Google still advertise 2025 or 2026

Fix in Strapi about 35 pages

Why it matters

The header of the site now says 14–17 September 2027. The title (the blue line in a Google result) and the description (the grey text under it) are what a searcher reads before they click, and these still name an older year or the old dates. The homepage description still says “15−18 September”.

The change is the year in each place. The table shows where, and the suggested homepage description is below it.

Google has no event details for the show

Fix in Strapi every page

Why it matters

A site can hand Google a short machine-readable summary of the event: its name, dates and venue. It is what lets a search result show the dates under your link, or list you when somebody searches for food exhibitions in Moscow. That field used to hold the 2025 details. It has since been emptied rather than updated, so Google now has no event information for the show at all.

Paste in a fresh event block for WorldFood Moscow 2027, 14–17 September 2027, Crocus Expo, Pavilion 3, Moscow, with the visitor registration page as the ticket link (offers) and the organiser ITE Group. One block on the homepage covers the whole site.

Where to change it

Strapi → Homepage → SEO → JSON_LD

We can supply the block. Tell us and we will send a ready-made event block with those details, for you to paste into the field.

Fourteen pages tell Google their real address is an old one

Fix in Strapi 14 pages

Why it matters

A canonical address is a line, invisible to visitors, that tells Google “this is the official copy of this page; list that address, not this one”. On these fourteen records the field still holds the address the page had before the site was restructured, under /exhibit/sectors/….

Since August those old addresses have been set up to forward, and they now forward straight back to the page itself. That sends Google in a circle, so it may ignore or drop the page.

The fix is to clear the Canonical URL field on each record and leave it empty. The site then fills in the page’s own address automatically.

Placeholder text is live on three pages

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

Lorem ipsum is the Latin filler a layout uses before the real words arrive. It is live, in public view, on What’s On → Agenda and What’s On → Speakers, where it is the intro text and Google uses it as the description. On Official Support it sits in the SEO Meta Description: the grey text under the link in a Google result.

Replace it with real copy, or take the pages out of view until the 2027 programme is ready: unpublish them, or tick noIndex in their SEO settings so Google stops listing them.

Six test pages are public, and four thank-you pages are listed in Google

Fix in Strapi 10 pages

Why it matters

These are published and listed for Google, so anyone searching can find them. The first six are test pages; /sad/ is new since 25 August. Unpublishing removes a page from the site and the sitemap in one step. Where a page has to stay, ticking noIndex in its SEO settings tells Google not to list it.

The four thank-you screens are what a form shows after it is sent. They should never appear in search, so tick noIndex on each.

Links inside the site that lead to “page not found”, and two broken forwards

Fix in Strapi 9 links · 5 pages

Why it matters

Each of these can be clicked today and lands the reader on “page not found”, or on a broken page.

The Cashew Info and Sesame Info partner pages link three websites written as www.cashewinformation.com and so on, without https:// in front. Written that way a browser treats the address as a page inside your own site and finds nothing. The e-mail address in the free-ticket article has the same problem: it is linked as if it were a page.

Explore More is a guess. The button points at a /travel-guide/ page that does not exist. It probably meant /exhibit/plan-your-travel/; please confirm that is where it should go.

Catch old bookmarks. For the dairy sector, also add a Redirects entry with Source exhibit/sectors/dairy-products-and-cheese and Destination /sectors/dairy-products-and-cheese/. It was the only old sector address that did not get one.

Two existing forwards are broken too (unchanged since August). In Redirects, the entry fruits-and-vegetables sends people to /sectors/fruits-and-vegetable/ (missing the final “s”); it should go to /sectors/fruits-and-vegetables/. The entry exhibiting-enquiry sends them to /exhibitor-enquiry/, which does not exist; it should go to /exhibit-enquiry/.

Four sponsor logos and one button are clickable but go nowhere

Fix in Strapi 5 links · 87 pages

Why it matters

Four Government Support records in the Partners list have a single # character in their Link field, a placeholder that fills the box but is not a website. The site treats it as a real address, so their logos in the sponsor strip, on 87 pages, open a new tab showing the same page again. The Learn More button on Official Support and the Visit Site button on each of their four partner pages do the same.

Fill in each organisation’s website, or clear the field. An empty field is the right way to say “no website”, and we are changing the site so that a logo without a link is simply not clickable.

The Download the Exhibitor Guide button on the Exhibit page has the same # where a file should be: it looks like a download and does nothing. Attach the guide, or remove the button until it is ready.

Three wording slips, one of them on every page

Fix in Strapi 3 edits

Why it matters

The header bar on every page reads “Moscow, Crocus Expo, Pavillion 3”. Pavilion has one l. It is the first line every visitor reads.

The Explore Moscow page welcomes the visitor “whether you’re here for MITT”. MITT is another exhibition’s name; the guide was copied from that site. And the Organiser page has “orgaisers”.

Ten landing pages have no description of their own

Fix in Strapi 10 pages

Why it matters

In all, 68 pages have no description in Google. These ten are the ones worth doing first. Without one, Google picks a sentence from the page at random, which is rarely the one you would have chosen.

Lower priority. The 20 partner pages with no text of their own (1C, Allma.Net, Halalrc, InfoLine, Retail.ru, Retail Tech, The Dairy News, the ministries and government bodies, and others) and the 26 photo galleries in the Media Library need a one-line description each, when convenient. For New Visitor Registration, tick noIndex rather than writing one; see the decision below.

Why it matters

Copied descriptions on three kinds of page, and a subtitle set as a main heading

Fix in Strapi 5 pages

Why it matters

Two articles, “Beyond Price Points: How Texture and Aftertaste…” and “Boost Sales or Build a Brand”, share the SEO title “Food Texture and Aftertaste Impact on Consumer Loyalty” and its description. The second article got a copied SEO block, so Google sees the same article twice and shows the wrong summary for one of them. Write its own title and description.

The partner pages Cashew Info and Sesame Info start with the same paragraph (“Eventell Global Advisory Private Limited, is formed by…”), so Google gets the same description for both. Give each a meta description of its own.

In the articles “Russia’s Leading International Food Exhibition Marks Its 35th Anniversary” and “Visitor Demographics and Business Impact of WorldFood Moscow”, the subtitle inside the text is set as Heading 1, the same level as the title. A page should have one main heading, so change it to Heading 2.

Pages that exist twice: tell us which to keep

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

In each pair below both pages say the same thing, so Google has to guess which one is the real one and tends to split the credit between them. Keep one, and unpublish the other.

For Y&H Cargo we suggest keeping the partner record. The Learn More button on Official Support currently points at the page version, so repoint it to the partner record before unpublishing.

Where to change it

Tell us which one stays; then unpublish the other in Strapi → Pages

PageIts twin
/y-and-h-cargo/ (a page, no description)/partner/y-and-h-cargo-2/ (the partner record)
/about-ite//about/organiser/ (both headed “About ITE Group”)
/visitor-registration//visitor-registration-new/

The extra registration page still shows a working form. /visitor-registration-new/ still shows a working registration form (“Enter your email → NEXT”), while /visitor-registration/ says registration for WorldFood Moscow 2027 will open soon. If the form on the extra page still feeds the 2026 project, visitors can register for a show that has ended. We did not submit it. Either unpublish the page, or confirm which edition it registers for.

What we need from you. Which of each pair stays. If both must exist, set the Canonical URL of the copy to the address of the original instead, and it stops competing.

The pop-up tool is not working on this address

We need a decision Decision · all 334 pages

Why it matters

Every page loads a pop-up tool, the kind used for newsletter sign-up boxes and exit-intent offers. It is not working on this site. expoworldfood.com is not registered against the account the tool belongs to, so on every page load the tool’s service answers that the site is unknown, and the request fails.

The cost is a little speed on every page and an error logged in the background, and no pop-ups, if pop-ups were the plan. The choice is a business one. If the pop-ups are wanted, the address needs registering in that account. If they are not, we remove the tool and every page gets slightly faster.

Where to change it

Tell us to register the domain, or to remove the tool

What we need from you. Whether the pop-ups are still part of the plan. If yes, someone with access to that account registers expoworldfood.com and we check it starts working. If no, we take the tool out; that is a change on our side and needs nothing from your team.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

641 images are over 100 kB, 119.7 MB in total

The site cannot compress images itself, so this is a re-upload in the Media Library: compress before uploading, aiming for under 200 kB, as WebP. Start with the homepage and the Explore Moscow pages. The heaviest are moskva_river_with_long_exposure… (3.1 MB), in_this_captivating_aerial_view… (2.1 MB), wfm26_1_1133….jpg (1.7 MB, shown on 5 pages), food_buffet_catering… (1.6 MB), preview_8a7e757d02.webp (1.5 MB), potluck_fun… (1.2 MB), pinchos_and_tapas… (1.0 MB), the APEDA web banner (889 kB) and Web_Banner_01_1840x500 (847 kB), plus about 40 gallery photos and “Untitled_design” images between 450 and 810 kB.

On phones, the sign-up cards hide their text until tapped

The Become an Exhibitor, Visitor and Speaker cards and the country cards show their description and button only when the mouse hovers over them, on the homepage, Why Exhibit and the Exhibitor Resource Centre. A phone has no hover, so the text appears only after a tap. It is a design choice, unchanged since August. Tell us if you would like the text always visible on phones.

The six country pages read as near-copies of each other

Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan share much of one text. A paragraph specific to each market would help them rank separately.

Fifteen short news items

Fifteen articles, mostly “… supports the WorldFood Moscow 2026 exhibition”, are 100–200 words. That is fine as news, but a paragraph on why it matters to exhibitors would give readers and search engines more to go on.

Short partner titles and long article titles

28 partner pages use only the partner’s name as their title (“1C”, “Halalrc”, “Spicos”…), and 76 article titles run over 60 characters and get cut off in Google. Both are editorial judgement. Adding “| Partner of WorldFood Moscow” to a partner title helps, and putting the point in the first 60 characters helps future headlines.

On our side

What we are handling

Found in the same review, but ours to put right. Since 25 August these have shipped: the duplicate rebuild of pages on desktop is fixed, the verification box on forms no longer renders twice, and your team added the redirects for the old sector addresses, removed the dead Y&H Cargo link and added a /partners/ redirect. In a separate check on seven pages at phone width, the mobile menu opened every time. Two things from your 25 August list are now ours: the design-samples page that is listed in the sitemap, and the Help page banner slides that link nowhere.

No action needed from your team

On phones and tablets, every page is built twice: the page is sent as the desktop version, then rebuilt in the browser because the two do not match. The visitor sees a flicker and a slower page, and the fix is in the main menu

What happens now

Start with the six country pages and the 2027 dates

The raw message code on the country pages is the one thing a visitor sees today, and it is six edits. The 2027 dates and the event details for Google are the next most useful change you can make; both are quick in Strapi.

Then the canonical fields, placeholders, test pages and links

Clear the fourteen canonical fields, replace or hide the placeholder text, unpublish the test pages and tick noIndex on the thank-you pages, then work through the dead and detouring links and the three wording slips. The descriptions and titles follow one pattern each.

Read the suggested wording before you use it

Every title and description we have drafted is a starting point, written from what is on the page, not from your marketing plan. Change anything that does not sound like you.

Two decisions from you

Which page of each twin pair stays, and whether the pop-up tool stays. Reply to this report with your answers and we will action them.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes, we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

This review was carried out on 5 October 2026, and it had two parts. 335 pages from your sitemap were loaded in a real browser and checked for layout, errors and accessibility, and every one of the 336 pages in the sitemap was reviewed for titles, descriptions, links, headings and images. The mobile menu was checked separately on seven pages at phone width and opened every time; the phone-sized layout pass sampled one page of each page type, so layout was not re-tested page by page at phone size. Findings the scans raised that turned out to be fine have been left out rather than passed on, including errors from outside services such as maps, video players and analytics. Each page was loaded once, so this lists what we found, which is not the same as every page being free of problems. Suggested wording is a starting point — please read it over before publishing and change anything that does not sound like you.
