The Register page shows a raw placeholder word instead of a form

Fix in Strapi 1 page · every visitor

Why it matters

The Register button in your site header sends every visitor to /visitor-registration/. The form on that page is loaded by a small piece of code pasted into the page, and that code still names a server address that no longer exists on the internet. Nothing the form asks for can ever arrive.

On 26 August the form area simply stayed empty. It is now worse: in large type, where the form should be, visitors see the unfinished text REGISTRATION_IS_UNAVAILABLE_TEXT. The introduction above it also still says MosHome 2026 takes place “from 31 March - 3 April 2026”.

The current address is wisent-api.itegroup.online, and it answers today for your registration code (465692). The repair is one address in one line of the pasted code.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → Visitor Registration → the block of code in the page text

SettingCurrentlyChange it to
data-apibaseurlhttps://wisent-live-api.hyve.ru/api
https://wisent-api.itegroup.online/api

Where exactly. Open Visitor Registration in Strapi and find the block of code in the page text. It mentions wisent. Change only the address in the quotes after data-apibaseurl and leave the registration code 465692 and everything else as it is.

What you will see afterwards. The form will load and show its real status. That status is currently closed, so visitors will see that registration is closed until code 465692 is opened or replaced with the code for the 2027 show. Your registration provider can tell you which code to use.

In the same edit. Change the introduction text to the 2027 dates, 30 March – 2 April 2027. The next two items cover two more places on this record and nearby pages that need the same visit.

Three pages tell Google their real address is somewhere else

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

A Canonical URL is how a page tells Google “my proper address is over there”. When it is filled in wrongly, the page removes itself from search results in favour of an address that does not work. It is normally left empty, and the site then fills in the correct address automatically.

Visitor Registration matters most. The Register button in the header links to it from every page, so it is the most-linked page on the site, and it is telling Google to ignore it. This is the second check in a row where it has been flagged.

The Key Consumer Trends article is new since last time, and it is a loop. The article was renamed and a redirect was set up from the old address to the new one, which was right. But the Canonical URL field still names the old address, so Google is told the real page is the old address, and the old address sends it straight back. It is your newest article and it is linked from the homepage.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page or article → SEO → Canonical URL → clear the field

PageIts Canonical URL saysWhat to do

/articles/key-consumer-trends/https://moshomeexpo.com/articles/key-consumer-trends-2024/ (the article’s old address)Clear the field. Leave it empty

Make it a habit. Whenever an article’s address is changed, empty this field at the same time.

One link to repoint on the way. The article How Are Functional and Aesthetic Innovations Driving Kitchen Design Choices? links the words “consumer trends” to the old address. Point it at /articles/key-consumer-trends/.

Last year’s show dates are still live in four places

Fix in Strapi 4 pages

Why it matters

The show is 30 March – 2 April 2027. These four pages still describe the current show as MosHome 2026.

Exhibitor Promotion matters most, because the email-signature template on it is copied by exhibitors into their own mail, so last year’s dates go out under their names. This was flagged on 26 August and is not yet changed.

Fifteen links lead to pages that do not exist

Fix in Strapi 15 links · 8 addresses

Why it matters

Eight addresses are linked from around the site but were never published, or were renamed. Every one shows “page not found”. The list is unchanged since 26 August.

The “Register to Visit” buttons come first. Three sector pages are sending people who want to attend to a dead page. The “Contact Us” button on the contacts page does the same.

Those four buttons also trigger a failed request in the background every time their pages load, so fixing them cleans up more than the click.

Several of these point at the empty sector pages. The pet, children’s, furniture and dining links point at MosPet, MosBaby&Child, Mos Furniture and MosDining&Kitchen, which are currently empty (see the sector pages item below). Fill those pages before re-pointing the links, or point the links at Exhibition Sectors (/exhibit/sectors/) instead.

68 of your 78 articles cannot be reached from anywhere on the site

Fix in Strapi 68 articles

Why it matters

The Articles & Reports page (/articles-and-reports/) is the only page that lists all 78 articles, and nothing on the site links to it. It is not in the menu, the footer or any other page. The Industry Insights menu item opens the Industry Insights Hub, which shows only the latest 6 articles.

So 68 articles can be found only through the sitemap file. Google treats a page with no links pointing to it as unimportant, and visitors cannot browse past the latest six at all.

On 26 August the expectation was that fixing the menu would reconnect them. The menu now works, but it has no entry for this page, so they are still cut off. One link reconnects all 68.

Where to change it

Strapi → the site menu → Industry Insights, or Strapi → Pages → Industry Insights Hub

Six more pages that nothing links to. The pages below also have no links pointing to them. Some may be deliberate, such as landing pages you only send by email. Please check them. The Media Gallery overview also lists 2023, 2024, 2025 and the Wholesale Center, but not MosHome 2026.

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Both are published, findable by Google and listed in your sitemap. Both were flagged on 26 August.

Leave /components/ alone. A third internal page, /components/, is also public. It is a reference page we use, so please do not delete it. We are hiding it from Google ourselves (see the list further down).

7

Six sector pages are published with nothing on them

Fix in Strapi 6 pages

Why it matters

Each of these shows its heading and nothing else. In Strapi the intro text is empty and there are no sections. Google sees them as near-copies of one another, so it may show one of them or none.

Several articles also link to them, so a reader following a link about pet products arrives at a page that says nothing. Your filled-in sector pages, such as Home & Interior, show what they should look like: an intro sentence plus the product sections.

Where to change it

Strapi → Sectors → the sector record

  • /sectors/mos-pet/
  • /sectors/mos-garden/
  • /sectors/mos-textiles/
  • /sectors/mos-baby-and-child/

  • /sectors/mos-furniture/

Fill them or unpublish them, but do one of the two. Either fill each page in like Home & Interior, or unpublish it until there is something to say. If you unpublish, re-point the article links from the dead-links item above.

Descriptions can wait. These pages also have no Google description. Write one once the page has content.

8

Two page sections leave blank space or a blank heading

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Why it matters

Both are carried over from 26 August. Each is an empty field or an empty section in Strapi that turns into something visible on the page.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → the page named below

PageWhat happensWhat to do
/sectors/outdoor-garden/The page has a Speakers List section with no speakers in it. It still takes up its space, leaving a blank band about 420px tall between the hero image and “Green Living Starts Here”Remove the Speakers List section from the Outdoor Garden record
/network-purchasing/The hero Title field is empty, so the page publishes with a blank main heading and the real title shows as a smaller heading underneath. The top of the page paints no height at allPut “Network Purchasing Center” in the hero Title field

We are guarding both in the site as well. An empty speakers section should take up no room, and a blank hero title should not produce a blank heading. Filling the field is still the real fix.

Hotel replacements. The 26 August report named each hotel’s own website as a replacement. Use those if they are still the right pages.

10

Ten pages have no description, or a broken one

Fix in Strapi 10 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in a Google result. When a page has none of its own, Google makes one up from whatever text it finds. Last time 24 pages shared the homepage’s sentence; that is fixed, and these are what is left.

The photo galleries have no SEO section, so their description is taken from the gallery’s Short Text field, which also shows under the heading on the page. One sentence there fixes both. Today that field is blank or just says “MosHome”.

The suggested wording is a starting point, written from what each page currently says. Please read it over before publishing, because it goes out under your name.

411 images have no written description

Fix in Strapi 411 images

Why it matters

Alternative text is the short written description attached to an image. Google reads it to work out what the picture shows, and screen readers read it aloud to visually impaired visitors. When the picture is also a link, it is the only name the link has.

Two of the missing ones are logos that are links on every page. Fill those in first: one edit each fixes every page. Last time the header logo was listed as ours to fix. It turns out to be a Media Library field, so it is yours.

About 105 more use the file name as their description. The editor fills the file name in by default, for example “WHY EXHIBIT - STATS.webp”, “Moshome Visit (2).png” and “240514_068.webp”. They are mostly pictures placed inside article text. The biggest are Chinese Sporting Goods Manufacturers Will Take Part in MosFit 2024 (11) and New Product Digest of MosHome 2023 Exhibitors (8), with about ten others carrying 2 to 4 each.

32 large PNG images are slowing down the main pages

Fix in Strapi 32 images · 26 MB

Why it matters

We are changing the site to use Strapi’s smaller automatic copies of each image, which fixes the great majority of the oversized images, mostly gallery photos. It does not help these 32. They were uploaded as PNG, which is the wrong format for photographs, and even Strapi’s reduced copies of them are still about 1 MB each.

Together they weigh 26 MB. They are most of the weight on the homepage, About MosHome, Why Visit and Exhibition Sectors, and the homepage barely improves without them.

Open each one, save it as WebP at about 80% quality and at most 1920 px wide, and replace the file in the Media Library. That usually turns a 2 MB PNG into 150–250 kB with no visible difference, and it updates every page that uses it.

A partner logo is invisible, and two article tables sit too tight to the next heading

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

Two things that only show up when you look at the page rather than at the data behind it.

The tables are a correction to the 26 August report. Last time we described the text as overlapping the table. Measured again at desktop and phone widths, the table spans the full column, so the text that follows sits below it. What actually happens is that the next heading or paragraph butts directly against the last table row with its normal spacing lost. It is readable but cramped, so this is low priority.

Six form pages fail the readable-colour standard, because of how the forms are styled

Fix in Strapi 6 pages

Why it matters

Contrast is how clearly text stands out from its background. Where it is too low, people with weaker eyesight, or anyone in bright light, struggle to read it. The usual standard asks for at least 4.5 to 1 for normal-size text.

The submit buttons on your embedded ActiveCampaign forms fail on five pages, and the “Download Event Brochure” form title fails on a sixth (#32b4a8 on #f4f0e5, which is 2.24 to 1). The colours come from the form builder at ActiveCampaign, not from the website, so they have to be restyled there.

A marketing tool is loading on every page and doing nothing

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

Every page loads a script from OptinMonster, the pop-up and email-capture tool. On all 123 pages it refuses to run, because moshomeexpo.com is not registered as a site on the OptinMonster account. This is unchanged since 26 August.

Where to change it

17

The Sports & Fitness sector is branded “MosFit”

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

The Sports & Fitness sector page (/sectors/sports-and-fitness/) reads “MosFit is where international brands…”. That is probably deliberate, since it matches the other sub-brands such as MosPet and MosGarden.

We raise it only because MosFit is also the name of a separate ITE show, and a reader could be confused about which one they are on. This is carried over from 26 August.

Where to change it

Tell us whether this is deliberate

What we need from you. Confirm that the MosFit name inside MosHome is deliberate, or tell us it should change. Nothing changes on the site until you say so.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

Two pages share the main heading “Visitor Registration”

These are the real registration page and the pre-registration page (/pre-reg/). Giving the pre-registration page its own heading, such as “Get Notified When Registration Opens”, makes it clear which is which.

Short page titles

Several titles are one or two words with no context: MosPet, MosGarden, MosTextiles, MosBaby&Child, Mos Furniture, MosHome 2025, MosHome 2026, Moshome 2024, Moshome 2023, Wholesale Center, About ITE Group, Exhibitor Promotion, Get in Touch With Us, Industry Insights Hub, Exhibitor Resource Center and Network Purchasing Center. Adding what the page is about plus “MosHome”, for example “MosHome 2026 Photo Gallery | Crocus Expo”, gives Google more to show. Your call on wording.

Three descriptions that are very short or missing

Exhibitor Resource Center (“Simplify your onboarding and decision-making process.”) and Get in Touch With Us (“Have any questions or need assistance? We’re here to help!”) say neither what the page is nor mention MosHome. Contact MosHome Team (/about/contacts/) has none of its own, so Google shows the start of the phone list. A sentence on each would read better.

Seven descriptions run a few characters over the recommended length

Six articles and Plan Your Travel. Google may cut the last word. Only worth touching if you are in those records anyway.

Ten articles use Heading 3 for their section headings and never Heading 2

Examples: Business Profile of MosHome Visitors, Smart Home Essentials Every Modern Household Needs and How Sustainable Materials Are Changing Interior Design. Heading 2 is the right level for a section of an article. Do it when an article is next edited.

Two links on Why Exhibit are missing the final slash

“Meet your Target Audience” and “Learn More”. They still work through a redirect. Add the / if you are editing that page anyway.

Thin sector pages

Services for Business, Festival & Christmas Decoration and Home & Interior each have a one-sentence intro. A short paragraph on who exhibits and who visits would help them rank for their sector.

Your Google result could carry a registration link

The homepage already tells Google the event’s dates and venue. Google suggests also adding a registration (ticket) link, which is the one addition likely to make a visible difference. It lives in the homepage’s structured-data field. Ask us if you would rather we add it.

On our side

What we are already fixing

Found in the same review, but ours to put right rather than yours. Since 26 August these have shipped: page titles no longer read “Form - …”, pages no longer borrow the homepage’s description, the duplicate main headings on Household Appliances and Contacts are gone, the main menu’s drop-down links are now in the page as search engines read it, the exhibition’s event details now appear only on the homepage, and the header that forces a secure connection is in place. 182 of the oversized images you were asked to re-upload on 26 August are now ours, because Strapi already holds smaller copies of them. Hiding the internal /components/ page is also ours.

No action needed from your team

On phones and tablets, the article cards in the “latest articles” sliders cannot be opened. The only link is a “read more” button that appears when a mouse hovers over the card, and a touchscreen has no hover. We are making the whole card a link

What happens now

Start with the Register page

Three of the items above land on that one record: the dead server address now showing a raw placeholder, the Canonical URL pointing at a page that does not exist, and the 2026 dates in the introduction. It is the page your header button sends every visitor to.

Then the missing link to your articles and the dead links

One menu entry reconnects 68 articles. The fifteen dead links are quick swaps with the replacement in the table, and the three Register to Visit buttons come first. Do the 2026 dates on Exhibitor Promotion while you are there, because exhibitors copy that text into their own email.

Read the suggested wording before you use it

Every description we have drafted is a starting point, written from what is on the page, not from your marketing plan. Change anything that does not sound like you.

Two decisions from you

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes, we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

This review was carried out on 2 October 2026, and it had two parts. 123 pages from your sitemap were loaded in a real browser and checked for layout and errors, with the internal /components/ page left out, and a separate search-engine crawl covered all 124 pages in the sitemap along with 12 further addresses that links on the site point to. The browser check raised 908 individual flags. Each was looked at, and the real problems are in this report. 620 were set aside, almost all of them the same three false alarms repeating: buttons reported as cut off that show their full label, the opening animation measured after it has correctly finished, and the fixed header measured as if it sat in the page. The phone-width and menu checks covered 23 page layouts rather than all 123 pages, and the slider problem on touchscreens was found by trying a phone by hand, because the automatic checks do not look for it. Because the site scrolls smoothly, a clean result for things covering content lower down the page is not conclusive. Each page was loaded once, so this lists what we found, which is not the same as every page being free of problems. Suggested wording is a starting point: please read it over before publishing and change anything that does not sound like you.
