24 pages are sharing one sentence

Google shows a short description under every link. When a page has none of its own, the site falls back to the homepage’s. Right now 24 different pages are all advertising the same sentence about exhibiting — including Contact MosHome Team, Media Gallery, Network Purchasing Center, Exhibitor Resource Center, five of the sector pages and three photo galleries. It reads as an invitation to exhibit on pages written for visitors, and it is correct on the homepage and on nothing else.

11 to fix · 2 to decide
1

Visitor registration does not work on the live site

Fix in Strapi 1 page · every visitor

Why it matters

The registration form on /visitor-registration/ is a small piece of code pasted into the page, which loads the ticketing widget from your registration provider. That code names the server the widget should talk to — and that server no longer exists. It is not down and it is not slow: the address has been removed from the internet altogether, so nothing the browser asks for can ever arrive.

What a visitor sees is a page that loads normally with an empty band where the form should be. Nothing appears, no error is shown, and there is nothing to click. Anyone arriving to register simply leaves — and the Register button in your site header sends people to this page from 124 pages.

The provider’s current address is wisent-api.itegroup.online, and your own registration code (465692) answers correctly on it today. The fix is one address in one line of the pasted code. Nothing in the site itself needs to change and no developer is needed.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → Visitor Registration → the block of code in the page text

SettingCurrentlyChange it to
data-apibaseurlhttps://wisent-live-api.hyve.ru/api
https://wisent-api.itegroup.online/api

Where exactly. Open Visitor Registration in Strapi and find the block of code in the page text — it begins with <div id="app"> and mentions wisent. Change only the address in the quotes after data-apibaseurl. Leave the registration code 465692 and everything else exactly as it is.

What you will see afterwards. The widget will load and show its real status. That status is currently closed — the provider reports registration for the 2027 edition as not yet open, which is a scheduling matter for your team rather than a fault. Either way a visitor gets a working form that tells them where things stand, instead of a blank space.

Two other things on this same page. The next item down explains why this page is currently hidden from Google, and its description still invites people to MosHome 2026. All three are worth doing in one visit to the record.

The same fault is on other ITE sites. The same old address is pasted into the registration page on several other sites in the group, including Printech and MiningWorld. Each site has its own record in Strapi, so the edit needs making on each — but it is the same one-line change every time.

Verified. On 26 August the live page’s code names the old address, and that address returns no answer from a public DNS lookup — it does not resolve at all. The new address answers correctly for registration code 465692.

2

Two pages are telling Google their real address is a page that does not exist

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Why it matters

A page can carry a note to Google saying "the real version of me lives over there". It is meant for cases where the same content sits at two addresses, and it is normally left empty so the site fills in the page’s own address automatically.

On these two pages the field has been filled in by hand, and in both cases it points at an address that returns a page-not-found error. So each page is telling Google that the genuine copy of itself is a dead end, and Google responds by dropping the page from its results.

Visitor Registration is the urgent one. The Register button in your site header links to it from 124 pages, which makes it the most-linked page on the whole site — and it is currently opting itself out of search.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page record → SEO → Canonical URL → clear the field

PageIts Canonical URL saysWhat to do
/visitor-registration/https://moshomeexpo.com/attend/visitor-registration/Clear the field. Leave it empty
/sectors/home-and-interior/https://moshomeexpo.com/sectors/home-and-decorative/Clear the field. Leave it empty

Worth a sweep while you are there. These are the only two records where the field is filled in wrongly today, but it is the kind of thing that gets copied between records. If you find Canonical URL typed into any other page or article, it is almost certainly wrong for the same reason — empty is the correct state for every page on this site.

Verified. On 26 August both live pages carry the canonical addresses shown above, and both of those addresses return a 404 error page when requested directly.

3

Fifteen links inside the site lead to pages that do not exist

Fix in Strapi 15 links · 8 addresses

Why it matters

Eight addresses are linked from around the site but were never published, or were renamed after the link was written. Every one of them lands the reader on a page-not-found screen.

The three Register to Visit buttons matter most: they sit at the bottom of three sector pages, they are the call to action on those pages, and they send somebody who has decided to attend to a dead end. The Contact Us button on the contacts page does the same thing.

The rest are links inside article text, written to sector pages using addresses that have since changed. Every replacement below was opened and checked before it went in the table.

If you unpublish the empty sector pages. Four of these links point at the six mos-* sector pages further down this report. If you decide to unpublish those rather than fill them in, these links need pointing somewhere else instead — the sectors index at /exhibit/sectors/ is the safe destination.

Verified. All eight old addresses were requested individually on 26 August and every one returns a 404 error page. All five replacement addresses load normally. The three Register to Visit buttons and the Contact Us button were read from the live pages.

4

Three links to other websites are dead

Fix in Strapi 3 links

Why it matters

These point at other organisations’ websites, and the pages behind them have since been withdrawn.

The first is worth doing before anything else in this item: it is a partner logo in a shared block, so a single edit fixes it on 22 pages at once. The partner’s own website is perfectly alive — it is only the /en address in the link that has gone, so dropping those two characters is the whole repair.

Where to change it

Strapi → the partner record, and Pages → Plan Your Travel

WhereIt points toWhat to do
The Beautiful Houses partner logo — 22 pages, including the homepage and Partners and Sponsorshouses.ru/en
https://houses.ru/
Plan Your Travel — “Book your Stay”, Ibis Moscow Kievskaya 3*all.accor.com/hotel/8224/index.ru.shtml
https://ibiskievskaya.ru/en/
Plan Your Travel — “Book your Stay”, Novotel Moscow Kievskaya 4*all.accor.com/hotel/8225/index.ru.shtml
https://novotelkievskaya.ru/en/

The hotel replacements are the hotels’ own booking sites. Accor has permanently withdrawn both listings — they answer “gone”, which is the strongest form of "removed on purpose, do not come back". Each hotel still runs its own official site, and those are the two addresses above: we opened both and confirmed they are the right hotels. The same two hotels appear on other ITE sites using these working addresses already.

One link that looked dead but is fine. The TAdviser reference in How to Stand Out at a Home and Interior Trade Show failed our automated check, but opens normally for a person in a browser. It is not listed here and needs no change. The same is true of four other research and industry sites linked from articles.

Verified. Every address in the table was requested individually on 26 August. houses.ru/en returns page-not-found while houses.ru itself loads normally; both Accor listings answer “410 Gone”; and both hotel replacements load and identify themselves as the right hotels.

5

Six sector pages are published with nothing on them

Fix in Strapi 6 pages

Why it matters

MosPet, MosGarden, MosTextiles, MosBaby&Child, MosDining&Kitchen and Mos Furniture each show their heading and then go straight to the footer. There are no content sections on them at all — around thirty words each, which is the site’s own furniture rather than anything about the sector.

Because they are almost identical to one another, Google scores them as 94 to 96% the same page and may choose to show only one of the six, or none. And four articles link to them, so a reader following a link about pet products arrives at a page that tells them nothing.

Your other six sector pages show what these should look like — Household Appliances & Electronics runs to about 400 words with an intro, a product list and a call to action.

Where to change it

Strapi → Sectors → the sector record

  • /sectors/mos-pet/
  • /sectors/mos-garden/
  • /sectors/mos-textiles/
  • /sectors/mos-baby-and-child/
  • /sectors/mos-dining-and-kitchen/
  • /sectors/mos-furniture/

Fill them or unpublish them — but do one of the two. Leaving them as they are is the only option that actively costs you something: six near-identical pages compete with each other and with the sector pages that are written. If a sector is real and coming to the 2027 show, an intro paragraph and the product list are enough. If it is not, unpublish the page until it is — and re-point the four article links named in the previous item.

Nothing is broken here. The page template is fine, and it is the same template the six filled-in sector pages use. These records are simply empty.

Verified. All six were loaded on 26 August. Each carries its own heading and the standard header and footer and nothing else, while /sectors/household-appliances/ on the same template carries around 400 words.

6

A test page in Google, a demo page beside it, and three heading problems

Fix in Strapi 5 pages

Why it matters

None of these breaks anything, but each is visible to visitors or to Google, and each takes a minute to put right.

The main heading is the one line Google reads first to decide what a page is about. A page should have exactly one — its own title.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page named below

PageWhat it isWhat to do
/test4/A page whose title is “test” and whose heading is “dsds”. It is published, listed in your sitemap and open to GoogleDelete it, or unpublish it
/partners-sponsors-demo/Partners & Sponsors (Demo) — a test copy of the real Partners and Sponsors page. Also published, also listed and also open to GoogleUnpublish it, or delete it if it is no longer needed
/network-purchasing/The hero Title field is empty, so the page publishes with a blank main heading and the real title appears as a smaller sub-heading beneath it. Google reads the main heading first and finds nothing therePut “Network Purchasing Center” in the hero Title field
/sectors/household-appliances/Two extra main headings inside the page text — one of them completely empty, and one reading “Products to Exhibit :”Delete the empty one; change “Products to Exhibit :” to Heading 2
/about/contacts/“Contact information” in the page text is set as a main heading with a custom 35px font sizeChange it to Heading 2 and clear the custom font size

We are guarding the blank heading too. The Network Purchasing Center fix is yours, but the site should not be able to publish a headingless page in the first place. We are changing it so an empty hero title produces no heading at all rather than a blank one, which stops this recurring.

Verified. All five pages were loaded on 26 August. /test4/ and /partners-sponsors-demo/ both return normally and are in your sitemap; /network-purchasing/ ships a main heading containing a single space; and the two heading pages each carry the extra headings described.

7

Three places still advertise the 2026 show

Fix in Strapi 3 places

Why it matters

The site has moved to MosHome 2027, 30 March – 2 April 2027 at Crocus Expo — the header, the footer opening times and the venue panels all agree. Three pieces of live wording did not come with it.

Exhibitor Promotion is the one to fix first, because it is not just a stale year. The email-signature template you give exhibitors to paste into their own correspondence reads MosHome 2026 Exhibition, 31 March – 3 April — last year’s dates, going out under your exhibitors’ names to their own customers.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page named below

/sectors/household-appliances/The opening paragraphThe Household Appliances sector at MosHome 2026 connects global manufacturers…
/sectors/outdoor-garden/The opening paragraph, twiceMosGarden, the dedicated garden and outdoor lifestyle sector of MosHome 2026…

And the Register page’s description. The Visitor Registration page’s SEO Description — the grey text under it in Google — reads “Register for MosHome 2026 to connect with leading suppliers…”. Worth changing to 2027 in the same visit as the other two fixes on that page.

Pages that mention 2026 correctly were left out. Why Visit reports what the 2026 edition achieved, About MosHome describes it in the past tense, and the post-show report page is about it. Those are a record of what happened and should stay. Only the three above, plus the Register description, are describing the current show with the wrong year.

Verified. We read the full text of all 44 non-article pages on 26 August. The three above are every remaining place the current show is named as 2026.

8

A partner logo is invisible, and two article tables push the text sideways

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

Two things that only show up when you look at the page rather than at the data behind it.

Where to change it

Strapi → the partner record, and Articles → the article body

WhereWhat happensWhat to do
The EPCH logo on /partners-and-sponsors/The uploaded file is a white logo on a transparent background — 98% of the ink in it is white. How Energy Efficient Appliances Are Winning the Market · Rising Trends in Garden Decor and Outdoor Living ProductsThe table in each article has been set to align left in the editor. That takes it out of the normal flow of the page, so the paragraph and heading that follow wrap around it and sit beside or under it instead of belowOpen each article, select the table, and clear the alignment so it sits inline like every other table on the site

How we checked the logo. We downloaded the file and measured it: 291 by 90 pixels, of which only 14% carry any ink at all, and 98.5% of that ink is near-white. Against your cream background that is a contrast of roughly 1.1 to 1 — the point at which two colours are indistinguishable.

Only these two articles are affected. We checked every article that contains a table. These two are the only ones carrying the alignment; everywhere else the tables sit inline and read correctly.

9

23 pages need a description of their own

Fix in Strapi 23 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in a Google result. It is the sentence that decides whether somebody clicks you or a competitor, and it is the only part of a search result you write yourself.

Twenty-one pages have none, so they fall back to the homepage’s sentence — an invitation to exhibit, currently showing on the contacts page, the media gallery and the exhibitor resource centre alike. Two more photo galleries do have a description, but it is the single word MosHome, which gives a searcher nothing to go on.

The suggested wording below was written from what is actually on each page. It is a starting point, not a decision about how you want to sound — please read each one before you use it.

The other five wait on decisions above. The five mos-* sector pages are in the count, but writing a description for a page with no content on it is the wrong order — settle those pages first. /test4/ and /partners-sponsors-demo/ are also in the count and are being unpublished, so they need nothing.

Keep them to about 155 characters. Google shows roughly 155 characters and trims the rest mid-word. Every suggestion above is inside that.

Four page titles are still working labels, and fourteen more say almost nothing

Fix in Strapi 18 pages

Why it matters

The title is the blue clickable line in a Google result and the name on the browser tab. Four of yours still carry the label the page was built under — Form - Inform me when reg is live is live in Google right now — and that reads as unfinished to anybody deciding whether to click.

The other fourteen are just very short. Google gives you roughly sixty characters and these use a fraction of it: About ITE, MosPet, MosGarden, MosTextiles, MosBaby&Child, Mos Furniture, Media Gallery, the four gallery pages (MosHome 2023 to MosHome 2026, Wholesale Center), Exhibitor Promotion, Insights & Resources, Partners and Sponsors, Supporters and Sponsors, Exhibitor Resource Center and Network Purchasing Center. Adding MosHome and what the page is for is enough — MosHome 2025 Photo Gallery | Crocus Expo works far harder than MosHome 2025, and costs nothing to change.

218 images are heavier than they need to be

Fix in Strapi 218 images · 56 MB

Why it matters

These are the images on the site over 100 kB, and 56 MB between them. Every visitor downloads them at full size, including anyone on a phone on mobile data, and Google counts page speed when it decides where to rank you.

The site cannot shrink them by itself — it serves whatever file was uploaded — so this is a re-upload in the Media Library rather than anything a developer can change. Most of the worst offenders are PNGs, which is the wrong format for a photograph; converting them to WebP is where nearly all of the saving comes from.

Start with the four files marked as being used on several pages: compressing one of those improves every page it appears on. A free tool such as tinypng.com or squoosh.app does the job — resize to at most 1920 pixels wide and save as WebP at around 80% quality.

Where to change it

Strapi → Media Library → replace the file with a compressed version

The Sports & Fitness sector is branded MosFit

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

The Sports & Fitness sector page opens "MosFit connects global sports and fitness brands…", and its hero image file is named for MosFit and is reused across seven MosHome pages.

On the face of it this is consistent with how your other sectors are named — MosPet, MosGarden, MosTextiles, MosBaby&Child — so it is probably intentional. We are raising it only because MosFit is also a separate ITE exhibition with its own website, and a visitor searching for one could reasonably end up reading about the other.

Where to change it

Tell us whether this is deliberate

What we need from you. Confirm that the MosFit name inside MosHome is deliberate, or tell us it was carried across from the wrong place and we will flag every page it appears on. Either way nothing changes on the site until you say so — this is a brand question, not a fault.

13

A marketing tool is loading on every page and doing nothing

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

Every page loads a script from OptinMonster, the pop-up and email-capture tool. On all 122 pages it refuses to run, because moshomeexpo.com is not registered as a site on the OptinMonster account. The answer that comes back is "The referrer site could not be found. It may not have been registered with OptinMonster."

It has been doing nothing for long enough that removing it is the honest option — but it is your subscription, not ours, so we will not take it off without being asked.

Where to change it

Tell us to keep it or remove it

The referrer site could not be found. It may not have been registered with OptinMonster. Domain provided: (moshomeexpo.com)The answer OptinMonster returns for every page on the site. We asked it directly on 26 August.

What we need from you. Either add moshomeexpo.com to the OptinMonster account so the campaigns can run, or tell us the tool is no longer used and we will take the script off the site. Both take minutes; the only wrong answer is leaving it as it is. The same script is installed on the other ITE sites we look after and is refused on those too — it is the same account and the same embed — so whoever manages it may want to check which domains are registered on it at all.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

414 images have no written description

Every image can carry a short line of alternative text — read aloud to visitors using a screen reader, shown if the image fails to load, and the only thing Google has to go on in image search. Almost none of yours has one. It is a big job, so do it gradually and do it in the Media Library rather than page by page: filling the Alternative text field there fixes the image everywhere it is used. Start with the homepage and the six filled-in sector pages, then article header images, then galleries and partner logos. A good line says what is in the picture: "Visitors at the MosHome 2025 home textiles stand", not "image" or "moshome".

Your Google result could carry a registration link

The site already hands Google a short machine-readable summary of the exhibition — its name, dates, venue and organiser — which is what lets a result show your dates under your link. Google notes two optional additions it could use, and one of them is worth adding: a link to registration, so someone who finds MosHome in search can go straight there. It lives in the same structured-data field as the details you already provide, and we can add it for you if you would rather not go into that field.

Seven descriptions run a few characters long

Six articles and Plan Your Travel are one to five characters over the 155 Google shows, so the last word may be trimmed. Only worth touching if you are in those records anyway.

Twelve article headings run over seventy characters

These are the article headlines themselves rather than a fault, so it is a question of house style. If you want shorter ones in future, the trick is to put the point in the first sixty characters and let the rest trail.

Two links on Why Exhibit take an extra step

Two article links on /exhibit/why-exhibit/ are written without the slash on the end, so each click is quietly forwarded to the correct address rather than going straight there. Nothing is broken and nobody notices, but if you are editing that page anyway, adding the trailing slash saves the step.

A proofread of the pages that matter most

Our crawler flagged possible spelling errors on every page of the site; on inspection they are overwhelmingly brand names and words it does not know — MosHome, MosPet, MosGarden, Crocus, décor. Nothing to act on there. But a human read of the homepage, the sector pages and the newest articles would catch the few a tool cannot judge.

What we are already fixing

No action needed from your team

The links inside the main menu’s drop-downs are not in the page as search engines first read it — and on this site that one fault accounts for every orphaned page. 89 of your 123 pages have nothing pointing at them from within the site, including the whole articles section: the news index is reachable only through the menu, so all 77 articles behind it fall off with it. Code

Two links in the site header are pictures with no words behind them — the language switcher and the Co-located With logo — so a screen reader announces each as an unnamed link and a search engine sees nothing at all

the header, on every page

Code

A page whose hero title is left empty still publishes a blank main heading. We are changing it so no heading is produced at all, which stops an empty field turning into a headingless page

Network Purchasing Center

Code

A card section with nothing in it still reserves its full spacing, which is what turns an unfilled section into a large blank band mid-page. We are changing it so an empty section takes up no room

the Outdoor Garden sector page

Code

The two article-listing pages log an error as they load and re-draw part of themselves in the browser. We have traced it to the way article dates are formatted and are correcting it

Code

Every article and sector page hands Google the exhibition’s own event details rather than its own, which dilutes the pages where that information actually belongs. We are generating article details for the articles from what is already in Strapi

What happens now

Do the Visitor Registration page today

Three of the items above land on that one record: the dead server address, the canonical pointing at a page that does not exist, and the description still selling MosHome 2026. Between them they mean the page most linked-to on your whole site neither works nor appears in Google.

Then the dead links and the empty sector pages

The fifteen internal links are quick swaps and every replacement is in the table — the three Register to Visit buttons first, since those are three sector pages sending ready-to-attend visitors to a dead end. The six empty sector pages need a decision before anything else about them is worth doing, and four of the article links depend on that decision.

Read the suggested wording before you use it

Every title and description we have drafted is a starting point, written from what is on the page, not from your marketing plan. Change anything that does not sound like you.

Answer the two decisions

Whether the MosFit branding inside MosHome is deliberate, and whether OptinMonster stays or goes. Reply to this report and we will action both.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

Every item in this report was checked by hand against the live site on 26 August 2026. 122 pages were loaded one by one in a real browser, and a separate search-engine crawl fetched 132 addresses, covering all 123 in your sitemap. Every dead link named here was requested individually, along with each suggested replacement and the links that turned out to be fine, and the registration widget’s two server addresses were tested directly. The invisible partner logo was downloaded and measured pixel by pixel, and the stale 2026 wording was found by reading the full text of all 44 non-article pages. Most of what our scans reported was not passed on: of 880 raw flags, 578 were the same three detector faults repeating — buttons reported as cut off that render their full label, the opening animation measured after it has correctly finished, and the fixed header measured as if it sat in the page. All of them were checked against screenshots before being set aside. Two limits worth knowing: the phone-width checks covered a sample of page layouts rather than all 122 pages, and each page was loaded once — so this review found what it found, and it is not a guarantee that nothing else is wrong. Suggested wording is a starting point: please read it over before publishing, and change anything that does not match how you talk about the event.
