The visitor registration page shows a code word instead of a form

Fix in Strapi 1 page

Why it matters

Anyone who opens Register to Visit sees a single line where the form should be: REGISTRATION_IS_UNAVAILABLE_TEXT. That is not wording meant for visitors. It is the internal label of the registration form’s own “registration unavailable” message, showing in its raw form because the form cannot reach the service it comes from.

The form is not built into your site. Your registration provider supplies it, and the page carries a short piece of embed code telling the browser where to fetch it from. That code names an address that no longer exists anywhere on the internet, so the form never loads. The cause is the same as in August, when the page sat on “Loading…”; what visitors see now is more conspicuous.

Visitors reach the page through the “Click here” link on the old pre-registration address and through three articles that link there. It is not in the main menu.

Where to change it

Your registration provider first, then Strapi → the Register to Visit page (/vis-reg/) → the embedded registration block

REGISTRATION_IS_UNAVAILABLE_TEXTWhat a visitor sees on Register to Visit today, in place of the form.

If registration is open, or about to open. Ask your registration provider for the current address the form should be loaded from. Your registration code is 874821, and the address in the embed today is wisent-live-api.hyve.ru. Replace it in the embedded block on the page and publish.

If it is deliberately closed for now. Replace the embed with a plain “Registration opens soon” message, and put the form back when it opens. Either is better than the code word.

2

“Become a Sponsor” in the main menu leads to a missing page

Fix in Strapi Every page · 2 links

Why it matters

In the About menu, Become a Sponsor points at the address “sponsorship-enquiry”, and there is no page there. A visitor who clicks it lands on a page-not-found error. The menu is on every page of the site, so this is the single most visible dead link on it.

It has always been broken for visitors. What is new is that search engines now see it too: a recent change on our side made the menu’s drop-down links readable to Google, which helps the pages they lead to, and it means Google now finds this dead one on every page as well.

The same address is behind the Partnership Opportunities link on the Exhibitor Resource Centre page.

Where to change it

Strapi → the navigation bar record → About → Become a Sponsor → the link address

Where to point it. The Exhibit Enquiry form or the Partners & Sponsors page are the obvious choices. Or create a sponsorship enquiry page at that address, and both links start working without being touched. If you re-point instead, do the Exhibitor Resource Centre link as well.

3

Buttons on Why Visit, the homepage and About MosBuild lead to missing pages

Fix in Strapi 12 links · 3 pages

Why it matters

Every “View Details” button on Why Visit opens a page-not-found error. Why Visit is a main menu page, so a visitor who reads about a part of the show and clicks to find out more hits a dead end. This is unchanged since August.

The MADA Awards address is also behind the “Learn More” button in the Awards card on the homepage and the “Read More” button on About MosBuild. Fix those two first: the homepage gets more visitors than any other page.

Where to change it

Strapi → Why Visit → each “View Details” button → the link address; then the homepage and About MosBuild

Sixteen sector pages still tell Google to list a different page

Fix in Strapi 16 pages

Why it matters

Every page has a setting called Canonical URL. It tells Google which address is the real one for that page. Left empty, the site fills in the page’s own address, which is the right answer almost every time.

On these sixteen it names an old “mos-build-sector” address that only forwards visitors back to the sector page. So each sector page tells Google “my real address is that other page”, and the other page says “go back”. Google ends up listing neither.

These are where somebody searching for flooring, wallpaper or bathroom fixtures should land, which makes them some of the most valuable pages on the site commercially. Windows is now fixed — thank you. The fix for the rest is the same: empty the field and save.

Where to change it

Strapi → Sectors → each page → SEO → Canonical URL — empty the field

Sector pageCanonical URL field currently says

We are adding a safety net too. We are adding a check on our side so that a Canonical URL pointing at one of these forwarding addresses is ignored automatically. Please still clear the sixteen fields: that fixes them the moment you publish, without waiting for us.

5

Eleven links inside articles lead to missing pages

Fix in Strapi 11 links · 8 articles

Why it matters

These are links inside the text of an article, so a reader hits the error mid-article.

Five of them want the Conference Programme. That page does exist, at “conference-programme” with a hyphen; the links have a slash instead.

One of the eight is not a real article at all: a test record titled “article title”, with a link reading “dasdasd”. It is live and visible to Google, and should be deleted or unpublished.

Where to change it

Strapi → Articles → the article named → the link in the body text

One forwarding address has a spelling slip. The old address sectors/mos-build-sector-8 is set to forward to sectors/wall-ceiling-paneling, with one “l”. The live page is wall-ceiling-panelling, with two, so anyone following the old address lands on an error. Correct the spelling in that redirect record.

Five buttons on the Exhibitor Resource Centre still do nothing

Fix in Strapi 5 buttons

Why it matters

Each of these buttons has a placeholder in its address field, so clicking it goes nowhere and nothing downloads. This is the page exhibitors are sent to for their forms and deadlines.

Two of the seven from August, Download Guide and Download Form, are now fixed. Point the rest at the real documents, or remove them until the documents are ready.

Where to change it

Strapi → Exhibitor Resource Centre → the URL field on each button

One more link on this page. The Partnership Opportunities link on the same page leads to the missing sponsorship page — see the Become a Sponsor item above.

7

Fifteen links to other websites are dead

Fix in Strapi 15 links · 7 pages

Why it matters

These point at other websites and no longer work. We checked each one in a normal browser, so none of them is a site simply refusing automated checks.

Plan Your Travel matters most. Four of its hotel booking buttons lead nowhere, and visitors use that page to plan their trip. The D+A Tour links are registrations for past events, so removing the links is enough.

Two more to check by hand. The Radisson Slavyanskaya and Hilton “Book your Stay” buttons on Plan Your Travel refused our checker, so we could not confirm them either way. Both hotel groups have changed how they operate in Russia since these links were added, so they may well be dead too.

Please open the catalogue links from Moscow. The exhibitor catalogue links (catalogue.ite-expo.ru) would not open for us at all. That may only be because we are outside Russia, so please try one once from Moscow.

Body text on seven sector pages shows in the wrong font

Fix in Strapi 7 pages

Why it matters

On these seven sector pages, the paragraphs under the form heading appear in an old-fashioned serif font, like Times New Roman, instead of the font used everywhere else on the site.

The text was pasted in from somewhere else and brought a font setting with it, for a font called Roboto. The site does not load Roboto, so on Windows, Mac and iPhone the browser falls back to its default serif font. Only Android phones, which have Roboto built in, show it as intended, which is why it is easy to miss.

Where to change it

Strapi → Sectors → each page → the paragraphs under the form heading → select them and use “clear formatting”

  • /sectors/building-equipment-tools/
  • /sectors/building-materials/
  • /sectors/facades-roofing-gates/
  • /sectors/flooring-materials/
  • /sectors/stone-materials/
  • /sectors/wall-ceiling-panelling/
  • /sectors/wallpaper/

Text cut off on a phone is ours. If you check these pages on a phone you will also see the end of each line cut off at the right-hand edge. That is a separate fault, in our code, on all 17 sector pages, and we are fixing it. Nothing to do on your side.

9

Two more pages point Google at an address that does not exist

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Why it matters

Same field as the sector pages, but here the address it names is gone entirely, so each page is telling Google its real address is a page that does not exist.

10

Two articles exist twice

Fix in Strapi 2 pairs

Why it matters

Each of these articles exists twice with the same title, as the original and a copy whose address ends in “-1”, so Google sees two pages competing with each other for the same searches.

Where to change it

Eight pages have no description for search results

Fix in Strapi 8 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in a Google result — the two lines that decide whether somebody clicks you or the result below. On these eight there is nothing there.

Suggested wording is below, and each fits within Google’s limit. Please read it over before publishing, because it goes out under MosBuild’s name.

Forty-three photo galleries share a one-word description

Fix in Strapi 43 pages

Why it matters

Each of these galleries has only the word “MosBuild” in its Short Text field, and that word is all Google gets as the gallery’s description. It is the same on all 43, written four ways: “Mosbuild” on 17, “MosBuild” on 12, “mosbuild” on 10 and “MOSBUILD” on 4.

One word tells a searcher nothing about which gallery they are about to open, and nothing separates one gallery from the next. One sentence each is enough. This is unchanged since August.

Where to change it

Strapi → each gallery → Short Text

Photo gallery from [section name] at MosBuild [year], Crocus Expo Moscow: [what the pictures show].A pattern that works. Fill in the three brackets and each gallery is distinct.
13

Four galleries share one name

Fix in Strapi 4 pages

Why it matters

Four galleries are called exactly “MosBuild 2025 – Exhibition”. They hold different photos, so they are not duplicates, but neither a visitor nor Google can tell them apart.

Only your team knows what separates them — the hall, the day or the theme. Rename each one to say so, ideally while you are writing the gallery sentences above.

Where to change it

Strapi → each of the four galleries → its name

14

The Media Gallery page is not linked from anywhere

Fix in Strapi 1 page

Why it matters

The gallery overview page, “Explore MosBuild Over the Years” at /media-gallery/, is live, but nothing on the site links to it: not the menu, not the footer, not any page. Search engines can only find it through your sitemap, and so most of the galleries under it count as unreachable too.

Add it to the menu, for example under About or Insights, or link it from the homepage.

Where to change it

Strapi → the navigation bar record, or the homepage

15

Photo descriptions are missing across the site

Fix in Strapi 2,670 images

Why it matters

Every image in the Media Library has an Alternative Text field: a short written description of the picture. A screen reader reads it aloud to a blind visitor, and it is how Google works out what a photo shows. It is empty on 81% of the site’s images.

This is the largest job on the list and does not have to be done at once. The order below puts the effort where it returns the most.

Where to change it

Strapi → Media Library → each image → Alternative Text

Suggested order. 1. The social media icons in the footer (LinkedIn, VK and YouTube). They are on every page, and without a description a screen reader announces each one as an unlabelled link. Five minutes: “MosBuild on LinkedIn” and so on. 2. Homepage and sector page images, the busiest pages. 3. Article header images, which appear in Google results. 4. Gallery photos, 2,508 of the 2,670. A short description per gallery, applied to each photo in it, is fine.

What a good description looks like. Say what is in the picture: “Visitors at the Kerama Marazzi stand, MosBuild 2025”. Not “MosBuild”, and not “photo”.

What we are doing alongside. We are adding fallbacks in the site code for gallery photos and partner logos, and a fix for the footer icons, so none of them is left completely blank. A fallback is a safety net, not a description: what is actually in each photo still has to come from your team.

Your pop-up tool still loads on every page and does nothing

We need a decision Decision · 436 pages

Why it matters

Every page loads a script from OptinMonster, the pop-up and email-capture tool. On all 436 it fails, because mosbuildexpo.com is not registered as a site in the OptinMonster account. This is unchanged since August.

Visitors see nothing and no pop-ups appear. But every page downloads and runs the script before finding it has nothing to do, which is wasted weight on every page load.

Where to change it

Register the domain in OptinMonster, or tell us to remove the script

What we need from you. Either add mosbuildexpo.com to the OptinMonster account so the campaigns can run, or tell us the tool is no longer used and we will take the script off the site.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

About 84 article headings read as machine translations

Headings such as “GC NOVAROLL will accept participation V International construction and interior exhibition” and “IN 2025 year interest To goods DIY V Russia will grow” are literal translations from Russian, with “в” left as “V”, “и” as “And” and “о” as “O”. 51 of them also appear as the page title in Google results. They are mostly older news pieces from 2024–25; rewriting the title and heading of the most-read ones first would make a visible difference.

62 page titles are cut off in search results

Anything over about 60 characters is trimmed, and the longest is 126. Most of them are the machine-translated headings above, so fixing those fixes these too.

19 descriptions you wrote are slightly over length

These were written by hand, so our automatic fix does not touch them. Each is a few characters over Google’s limit and gets cut off mid-sentence: the homepage, South Korea’s High-Tech Living & Modular Housing, Why MosBuild is a must-attend event for industry professionals, Rifar’s first time at MosBuild, Sveza: from construction to interior, Top Flooring Material Trends for 2026, the Ceramic Tiles & Finishes sector page, Türkiye’s Textile & Interior Export Trends, From Blueprint to Reality, How to Choose the Right Windows, Import Set Service partner zones, 2025 individual housing market growth, Innovative Building Materials to Watch, ITE Connect is now available in Turkish, What to Expect at MosBuild 2025, Why Biometric Door Locks Are Gaining Popularity, Sustainability in Modern Construction, Why Exhibit and Post-Show Report. Trimming each to about 150 characters is enough, and only worth doing if you are editing the record anyway.

27 links inside articles go through an old address

They still work, because visitors are forwarded, but each takes an extra step and Google does not credit the destination fully. 13 articles link to exhibit-enquiry without the final “/”. 6 articles (9 links) use old sector addresses (mos-build-sector-11, -19, -12 and -4) instead of Windows, Landscaping Solutions, Doors & Locks and Building Equipment & Tools. 3 articles use the old pre-reg address instead of Register to Visit. And 2 articles, Türkiye’s Textile & Interior Export Trends and Vietnam Smart Home Market Growth, link to your own pages with “?utm_source=chatgpt.com” on the end — a tag ChatGPT adds to links copied from it. Remove that part of the link.

Three thank-you pages are listed in Google

Become an Agent – thank you, Indian Compliance – thank you and Why Russia – thank you are open to search engines, and someone who lands on one from Google has not filled anything in. Ticking No Index in each page’s SEO settings takes them out of search and out of the sitemap.

1,437 images are larger than they need to be — 326 MB in total

The site has no automatic image compression, so visitors download whatever is uploaded. Do Kastamonu_logo_91d79a11.jpg first: it is a 1.0 MB logo that appears on 30 pages, so it is the biggest single win. After that, Furniture_2c8aca05.jpg (2.2 MB), Wallpaper_d25bc876.jpg (2.0 MB), mb_0303_2ee07e07.jpg (1.9 MB) and Plan_Your_Travel_2aa182aa.jpg (1.8 MB). Re-saving these at around 200 kB before upload makes a visible difference on a phone.

37 news articles are very short

They are 50 to 200 words, mostly 2022–2025 announcements such as “New dates: MosBuild will be held on May 13–16, 2024”. Nothing is broken. If any is still worth keeping, a paragraph of context helps; otherwise they can stay as they are.

On our side

What we are handling

Found in the same review, but ours to put right. Since 14 September two of ours have shipped: descriptions written automatically now stop at 150 characters, which brought 48 over-long pages back inside Google’s limit, and search engines can now follow the menu’s drop-down links, so About ITE, Contact Us and Become an Agent are no longer hidden.

What happens now

Start with registration and the sponsor link

These are the two a visitor is most likely to run into. Get the current form address from your registration provider, or replace the form with a short message if registration is closed. Then point Become a Sponsor at a live page: a two-minute edit that is on every page of the site.

Then the sector pages and the dead buttons

Empty the Canonical URL field on the sixteen sector pages and re-link or remove the dead buttons on Why Visit, the homepage, About MosBuild and the Exhibitor Resource Centre. Together with the menu link, that is about an hour.

Then the descriptions — an afternoon

Eight page descriptions using the suggested wording, and one sentence for each of the 43 galleries, renaming the four that share a name as you go.

Treat photo descriptions as ongoing

2,670 images is not an afternoon. Do the footer icons today, then the homepage and sector images, then article headers, then galleries one at a time, and describe new images as they are uploaded so the backlog stops growing.

One decision from you

Whether OptinMonster stays. Reply to this report with the answer, and tell us about any duplicate article you unpublish whose address has been shared, so we can forward it.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

This review was carried out on 2 October 2026, and it had two parts. Every one of the 436 pages in your sitemap was loaded in a real browser and checked for layout and errors, the first such pass since August; and a search-engine crawl of 472 addresses covered all 436 of those pages. The browser check raised 2,499 individual flags. Each was looked at, most turned out to be measurement noise or one error repeated on every page, and the real problems are in this report; things that turned out to be fine are left out. Each page was loaded once. Phone-sized checks covered one page of each type plus every sector page, and the accessibility check ran on a sample of 36 pages, so this report lists what we found, which is not the same as every page being free of problems. Suggested wording is a starting point — please read it over before publishing and change anything that does not sound like you.
