107 pages are sharing one sentence

Google shows a short description under every link. When a page has none of its own, the site falls back to the homepage’s. Right now 107 different pages are all advertising the same sentence about building materials — including About MosBuild, the conference agenda, visa support and the visitor registration page. Most of the 107 are partner pages and not worth your time; the eighteen that are worth writing are listed further down.

Visitors cannot register — the form never loads, and nothing links to the page

Fix in Strapi The whole page

Why it matters

This is the most serious item in the report, and there are two separate problems stacked on top of each other.

First, the form does not work. Anyone who reaches /vis-reg/ sees the heading “Register to Visit”, the word “Loading…”, and nothing else — ever. The registration form is not built into your site; it is supplied by an outside platform, and the page carries a short piece of embed code telling the browser where to fetch it. That code names an address that no longer exists anywhere on the internet, so the browser asks, gets no answer, and the page sits on “Loading…” forever.

Second, nothing on the website links to that page at all. We checked every link on all 420 pages: there is not one. The button in the header is “Book a Stand”, which goes to the exhibitor enquiry form. A visitor who wants to register has no way to get there except by typing the address.

Nothing is broken in the build. The address in the embed code has simply gone out of date, and the page was never added to the menu.

Where to change it

Your registration provider first, then Strapi → Visitor Registration → the embedded registration block, and the site menu

wisent-live-api.hyve.ruThe address the registration form is currently fetched from. We checked it on 18 and 19 August: that address is not registered anywhere on the internet, so no browser can reach it.

What we need from you. Ask your registration provider for the current address the registration form should be loaded from for MosBuild 2027 (your registration code is 874821). Send it to us with the rest of the embed settings and we will check the page comes back to life. It is a single value in one field — the fix takes minutes once we have it.

And add it to the menu. The site menu is built in Strapi. Once the form works, /vis-reg/ needs a place in it — a “Register to Visit” item alongside “Book a Stand” is the obvious one. See the item on unlinked pages further down; this is the most important of them.

Worth checking elsewhere. The same registration platform is used across the ITE sites. If you are getting this address updated, it is worth asking whether the other events are pointing at the old one too.

Nineteen pages are telling Google not to list them

Fix in Strapi 19 pages

Why it matters

Each of these pages has an address typed into a field called Canonical URL. That field exists for one purpose: to tell Google “this page is a duplicate — index that other address instead”.

Seventeen of the nineteen are your sector pages, and every one of them names an old address like /sectors/mos-build-sector-14/. Those old addresses are not pages any more; they are signposts that bounce a visitor straight back to the real sector page. So each sector page is currently telling Google that the true version of itself lives at a signpost pointing back at itself.

These are the pages people search for by product — bathrooms, flooring, windows, paints. They are the most commercially valuable pages on the site, and they are the ones asking to be left out of search results.

The fix is to clear the field and leave it empty. The site fills in the correct address automatically whenever the field is blank, so there is nothing to retype — empty is right.

Where to change it

/conference-programme//conference/programme/Clear the field
/articles/company-euro-decor-…-mos-build-2025/http:// version of itselfClear the field

One of the old addresses is broken as well. Fifteen of those old sector addresses still work as signposts. /sectors/mos-build-sector-8/ does not: it forwards to /sectors/wall-ceiling-paneling/, spelt with one “l”, which is an error page. So anyone following an old link to the Wall and Ceiling Panelling page lands on “page not found”. That redirect is set up in Strapi and needs the second “l” putting back.

The last two are slightly different. The conference programme names /conference/programme/, which is not a signpost — it is an error page. And the Euro Decor article names its own address but starting http:// instead of https://, which Google reads as a different page altogether. Both fields should simply be emptied like the rest.

The pages themselves are fine. Nothing else needs changing. These addresses were almost certainly correct when the sector pages were first built under numbered names, and were left behind when the pages were given proper ones.

Twenty-one links on your own site lead to a page that does not exist

Fix in Strapi 21 links · 10 pages

Why it matters

Ten of them sit together in the “Experience MosBuild Features” section of the Why Visit page. Each feature has a card — Decorium, the DIY Forum, MADA, Smart City and the rest — with a View Details button underneath. Every single one of those ten buttons leads to an error page.

The one costing you most is on the homepage: the Learn More button under the paragraph about the 2026 MosBuild Architecture & Design Award winners. It reaches for the same missing MADA page, and so does the Read More button in the same place on About MosBuild.

The remaining eight are links written into the body of articles — phrases like “conference programme” and “decorative lighting trends” — pointing at the same missing feature pages. A reader following one mid-article hits an error and usually leaves.

We requested every one of the 198 link destinations on the site individually. Between them these twenty-one links name thirteen different missing addresses, and none of those addresses exists anywhere on the site.

Where to change it

One of them has an obvious home. The MosBuild Connect Studio card can point at /connect/, which is live and is the MosBuild Connect page. We have not changed it — please confirm that is the destination you want.

The rest need a decision. For the other nine features there is no matching page on the site. Each one can either be built, or pointed at the closest thing that does exist — most of them have a photo gallery, for example /media-gallery/mos-build-2026-decorium/ — or the button can be removed so the card is text only. Tell us which and we will help.

There is no sponsorship page. The “Partnership Opportunities” button has nowhere to go: the site has /exhibit-enquiry/ and /contact-us/ but no sponsorship page. Pointing it at one of those two is the quickest fix.

The last row is not a typo in this report. An article really does contain a link whose visible text is dasdasd. It is covered in its own item below.

4

Sixteen links to other websites are dead — nine of them to your own mosbuild.com

Fix in Strapi 16 links

Why it matters

These point away from your site and no longer work. Nine of the sixteen are links to your own Russian site: the D+A Tour registration pages for Kazan, Minsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Nizhny Novgorod all return “page not found”. Those are the sign-up pages for a touring event, so anyone reading about the tour and trying to register cannot.

Two more are the “Book your Stay” buttons on your Travel page. Both point at hotel booking sites whose web addresses no longer exist at all — the whole moscowcityhotels.com domain has gone.

One is a small typo with an easy fix: on About ITE, the Woodex event links to woodexpo.com, which does not exist. The real address is woodexexpo.com — the word “ex” twice. Every other event on that page uses its correct address.

The Woodex one has a known answer. Change woodexpo.com to woodexexpo.com. We checked it on 19 August: it loads, and it is the Woodex 2026 site.

A phone number that goes to the CMS login. Not dead, but wrong, and on the same list of things to correct: on /attend/visa-support/ the phone number +7 (495) 935-83-85 is linked, and the link points at the Strapi editing screen rather than at a phone number. Anyone clicking it gets a login page. It should either be a tel: link or plain text.

Eight other links are fine — please ignore any tool that says otherwise. Automated checkers also flagged Hilton, Radisson, UNEP, ResearchGate, SagePub, 1stDibs and the ITE exhibitor catalogue. Those all work. We requested each one separately: they turn away automated visitors with a refusal, not a “page not found”, and the pages themselves are live. Do not spend time on them.

5

Seven buttons on the Exhibitor Resource Centre do nothing

Fix in Strapi 7 buttons

Why it matters

These buttons look and behave like every other button on the site, but their address field was left as a placeholder. Clicking one does nothing at all — the page does not move and no file downloads.

This is the page exhibitors are sent to for their forms and deadlines, so it is the page where a dead button is most likely to generate a support email.

Where to change it

Strapi → Exhibitor Resource Centre → the URL field on each button

ButtonHow many

What to put in. Each needs either the address of the document it should download, or the page it should open. If a document is not ready yet, it is better to remove the button until it is than to leave one that silently does nothing.

6

An article is live with placeholder text in it

Fix in Strapi 1 page

Why it matters

The article at /articles/mos-build-article/ is published, listed in your sitemap, and its title and its main heading both read literally “article title”. That is what appears in the browser tab and what Google shows as the blue clickable line.

Two-thirds of the way down the page, where a closing paragraph should be, the text reads “dasdasdasdasdas dasdasd”. The second of those words is a link, and it points at an address that does not exist.

The rest of the article is real and worth keeping: it sets out the judging criteria for the MADA award categories. Its description, though, is about interior design trends for 2024 and does not match the content.

Where to change it

Or take it down. If this was a draft that went out by accident, unpublishing it is perfectly reasonable — the MADA judging criteria also appear elsewhere on the site.

7

Nine pages are not linked from anywhere on the site

Fix in Strapi 9 pages

Why it matters

These pages exist and work, but nothing on the website points at them. A visitor can only reach one by typing the address or arriving from a campaign link, and search engines find them only through the sitemap, which counts for far less than a real link.

Contact Us is the one that will surprise people: your contact page cannot be reached by clicking anything. The four Why Exhibit pages are aimed at manufacturers in the GCC, India and Türkiye, so if they are meant to be found by browsing, they need a home in the menu.

We checked this by reading every link on all 420 pages, not by sampling.

Where to change it

Strapi → the site menu

  • /whyexhibit-india/
  • /whyexhibit-india-new/
  • /whyexhibit-turkiye/

The menu is yours to change. The navigation is built in Strapi, so adding these is a menu setting rather than a developer job. /vis-reg/ and /contact-us/ are the two worth doing first.

Some of these may be deliberate. If a page is meant to be reachable only from an email campaign or an advert, leave it as it is — that is a legitimate reason for a page not to be in the menu. Only you can tell us which of the nine those are.

Your articles and galleries have a related problem. Your articles index shows 30 of 244 articles and the gallery index shows 22 of 44, with the rest behind the “Load More” button. Search engines cannot press that button. That one is ours, not yours — it is on our list below.

Forty-three gallery pages are described as just “mosbuild”

Fix in Strapi 43 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text Google shows under your page in the results. On every one of these galleries it currently reads a single word — “mosbuild”, “Mosbuild”, “MosBuild” or “MOSBUILD”, the spelling varies — which tells a searcher nothing and gives Google nothing to match a search against.

The titles on these pages are already good, so the descriptions write themselves from the title. Each needs one sentence naming the event and the year.

The remaining 31 follow the same shape. They are the 2022, 2023 and 2024 galleries, and they repeat the same events year on year — Decorium, DIY Forum, Masterclass, Architectural Lecture Hall, Exhibition, Awards. Each can reuse the matching line above with the year changed. If you would rather do them quickly, this one sentence works for all of them: Photo gallery from [EVENT] at MosBuild [YEAR], the international building and interiors exhibition at Crocus Expo, Moscow.

One spelling, please. The event name is written four different ways across these 43 records. MosBuild is the correct form and it is worth setting it right while you are in each one.

9

Eighteen pages borrow the homepage’s description

Fix in Strapi 18 pages

Why it matters

When the Description field on a page is left empty, the site fills in the MosBuild homepage description instead. That is why 107 pages currently show the same sentence in Google.

It is not wrong, but it means these pages compete with your homepage rather than describing themselves. Somebody searching for MosBuild visa support currently reads a general sentence about building material innovations that never mentions visas.

Eighty-eight of the 107 are partner pages. They are small pages and writing 88 descriptions is not a good use of your time — leave them. The eighteen below are real content pages and are worth doing.

Fifty-two article titles read as unfinished English

Fix in Strapi 52 titles

Why it matters

The title is the blue clickable line in a Google result and the text in the browser tab. On 52 of your articles it reads as though a word was left untranslated — most often a lone capital “V” or “O” where English needs “in”, “at” or “about”.

Thirty titles have that problem. Another thirty capitalise a small connecting word mid-sentence — “Congratulations With During the day architect 2025!” — and eight have both.

These are old article titles rather than anything new, so this is a proofreading pass to work through at your own pace rather than an urgent fix. It is worth starting with the articles you most want found.

141 pages show only a record name as their title

Fix in Strapi 141 pages · 88 of them partner pages

Why it matters

The title is the blue clickable line in a Google result and the text on the browser tab. On these pages the Meta Title field is empty, so the site falls back to the name on the record and nothing else — SKOK, VEKA, KNAUF, BEAVER.school, Door business.

A searcher who meets one of those in a search result has no way of telling it is a MosBuild page. Google gives you roughly sixty characters; a bare brand name uses a handful of them and wastes the rest.

Filling them in a batch as you open each record for the description is the least painful route.

Compress the oversized images

Fix in Strapi 1,427 images · 333 MB

Why it matters

Every visitor downloads these at full size, including on a phone using mobile data. It is the single biggest thing slowing the site down, and Google counts page speed when it decides where to rank you.

The clearest example is a partner logo. The Kastamonu logo is a 1 MB photograph and it appears on 29 pages, so it alone accounts for around 30 MB of downloading across the site. A logo of that size on screen needs perhaps 30 kB.

Anything over 100 kB is worth compressing. Save photographs as JPG rather than PNG, and resize them to roughly the size they actually appear at — a full-width banner rarely needs to be wider than 1920 pixels.

Start with the logo. The Kastamonu logo is the best single minute you can spend on this list. It is a photograph saved at full size and used as a small logo on 29 pages, so it costs more total downloading than any other image on the site.

Where the work actually is. Of the 1,427 oversized images, 1,199 are inside the photo galleries and account for 273 MB of the total. The 228 on everything else — the pages people browse before they reach a gallery — come to about 60 MB, and those are the ones worth your time. The twelve above are the worst of them; the full list is available on request.

Quickest win. Several of the largest files are PNG photographs. Re-saving those as JPG typically cuts them by 70–80% with no visible difference.

One gallery is in a category of its own. /media-gallery/mos-build-2025-exhibition-2/ loads 595 photographs and 88 MB in one page. On a phone that is close to unusable. Splitting it into a few smaller galleries would help more than compressing it.

Four photo galleries share the same name

We need a decision Decision · 4 pages

Why it matters

These four gallery pages are all called “MosBuild 2025 - Exhibition” and all carry the same one-word description. Google sees four identical entries and will normally show only one of them, so three are effectively invisible.

They are not duplicates. We compared the photographs in all four and there is not a single image shared between any two of them — they hold 5, 8, 586 and 9 different pictures. Nothing needs deleting; the problem is only that nothing tells them apart from the outside.

Where to change it

Tell us which is which, or rename them yourselves

/media-gallery/mos-build-2025-exhibition-1/8
/media-gallery/mos-build-2025-exhibition-2/586
/media-gallery/mos-build-2025-exhibition-3/9

What we need from you. Give each one a name and description that says what is in it — “MosBuild 2025 — Exhibition, Day 1”, “MosBuild 2025 — Exhibition, Hall 13”, and so on. You know what each gallery contains and we do not.

Please do not delete any of them. An automated check scored these four as identical. It is wrong — it compares the words on a page, and a gallery page has almost none, so what it really measured was the shared title. We listed every photograph on all four pages and compared them: not one picture appears on more than one of them. If any tool tells you to delete three of these, ignore it.

Three articles are published twice

We need a decision Decision · 6 pages

Why it matters

Each of these pairs has the same title, the same heading and near-identical text. They compete with each other in search, and Google picks one and ignores the other.

They are not byte-for-byte identical — the two press releases run 940 and 1,039 words — so it is worth reading both before choosing.

Where to change it

Tell us which version to keep, or unpublish the other yourselves

Participants MosBuild 2025 will present…/articles/participants-…-17-sections-1/600

These really are duplicates. Unlike the galleries above, these pairs are near-identical text under the same title. Keeping one of each is the right answer — just read both first, since the longer version is not always the better one.

Your pop-up tool is loading on every page and doing nothing

We need a decision Decision · 420 pages

Why it matters

Every page on the site loads a script from OptinMonster, the pop-up and email-capture tool. On all 420 of them it fails, because mosbuildexpo.com is not registered as a site in the OptinMonster account.

We checked it directly on 18 and 19 August and the answer that comes back is “The referrer site could not be found. It may not have been registered with OptinMonster.”

Nothing is visibly broken — visitors see nothing and no pop-ups appear. But every page downloads and runs the script before discovering it has nothing to do, which is pure weight on every page load.

Where to change it

Register the domain in OptinMonster, or tell us to remove the script

What we need from you. Either add mosbuildexpo.com to the OptinMonster account so the campaigns can run, or tell us the tool is no longer used and we will take the script off the site. Both are quick; the only wrong answer is leaving it as it is.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

Three cards on the GCC page are set as the page’s main heading

A page should have one main heading. On /whyexhibit-gcc/ there are four, because three cards — “Direct Access to Buyers and Specifiers”, “Build Visibility and Market Credibility” and “Expand Your Distribution Network” — were typed using the Heading 1 style. In the editor, change those three to Heading 3. Nothing about how the page looks will change.

88 partner pages have no description of their own

They are part of the 107 above, and we would leave them. Each one is a logo, a company name and a line about what the company does, so there is little to describe and almost nobody searches for them by name. Writing 88 descriptions is a day of work for very little in return — but if you would like a one-line pattern to run through them, ask and we will supply one.

64 descriptions run a few characters long

156 to 165 characters against a 155 guideline. Google trims the last word or two and shows an ellipsis. Only worth editing if you happen to be in the record for another reason.

37 articles are quite short

Under 200 words each. We read them and the text really is that short — they are brief news announcements from 2022 to 2024, not pages that have lost their copy. Nothing is broken. If any of them still matter for search they would benefit from being expanded; otherwise leave them.

14 article addresses are very long

All built automatically from long headlines. Renaming a published address costs you the links it has already earned, so these are best left alone — worth keeping in mind only for articles not yet written.

On our side

What we are already fixing

Found in the same review, but ours to put right rather than yours.

No action needed from your team

On a phone, the lower half of every sector page runs off the right edge of the screen — headings are cut mid-word and every line of text loses its last word or two

sample: /sectors/bathroom-fixtures/ · affects 17 pages

Code

The website overwrites every image description with the same fixed text, so the wording typed into Strapi is discarded and screen readers hear nothing useful — please leave that field alone until we tell you it is ready

affects 9,296 of 9,724 images

Code

The loading animation leaves a hidden heading behind on every page, so search engines read “loading” as the first heading on the site before they reach the real one

affects 401 pages

Code

Only 30 of your 244 articles and 22 of your 44 galleries can be reached by following links — the rest sit behind the “Load More” button, which search engines cannot press

affects 253 pages

Code

The site sends Google none of the background detail it can display in a result — event dates, venue, article author — so we are generating it from what the CMS already holds

whole site

Code

Images inside article text arrive without their dimensions, so the page jumps around under the reader as each one loads

affects 431 images

Code

The arrows either side of the photo carousels have no label, so a screen reader announces them only as “button” and a blind visitor cannot tell forward from back

sample: /media-gallery/ · affects 15 pages

Code

The RU language switcher and the consent checkboxes are smaller than the recommended minimum for a phone, so they are fiddly to tap accurately

affects 29 pages

Code

The Sitemap link in the footer makes every page quietly request a file that cannot exist — invisible to visitors, but it fills our error monitoring

affects 420 pages

Code

The “Powered By Prismetic” link in the footer opens a new tab without the standard protection that stops the new page interfering with yours

whole site

Code

The security certificate is served incomplete, which breaks link previews in messaging apps and blocks some monitoring and AI tools from reading the site

Standard browser security headers are missing, so the site is not as protected as it could be against certain attacks

What happens now

Start with registration

Nobody can register to visit through the website at the moment, and even if they could, no link would take them to the page. Ask your registration provider for the current address, send it over, and add the page to the menu. Everything else in this report can wait a week without harm; this one cannot.

Then the sector pages and the broken links

Clearing the Canonical URL field on the seventeen sector pages is nineteen quick edits and it stops your most valuable pages asking Google to leave them out. The thirty-seven dead links are next. After that the items are in priority order, and every one of them can be made in Strapi and goes live when you publish — none need a deploy from us.

One thing to leave alone

Do not spend time on image descriptions. The website is currently overwriting whatever you type in that field, so the work would have no effect. We are fixing that at our end and will tell you when it is worth doing.

Answer the four decisions

Where the ten feature buttons should point, how to name the four 2025 galleries, which of the duplicated articles to keep, and whether the pop-up tool stays. Reply to this report and we will action all four.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

Every item in this report was checked by hand against the live site on 18 and 19 August 2026, across all 420 pages listed in your sitemap. We requested each of the 198 internal and 162 external link destinations individually and weighed all 3,291 images, so the counts here are measured rather than estimated. Things our scan flagged that turned out to be fine are not listed — and where an automated check was wrong, we have said so in the item rather than passing it on. Each page was loaded once, so this review found what it found; it is not a guarantee that nothing else is wrong. Suggested wording and suggested link targets are a starting point: please read them over before publishing, and change anything that does not match how you talk about the event.
