29 pages are sharing one sentence

Google shows a short description under every link. When a page has none of its own, the site falls back to the homepage’s. Right now 29 different pages are all advertising the same sentence about MiningWorld Expo — including About ITE, Plan Your Travel, Partners and Sponsors, Media Gallery, Sponsorship and Advertising, Exhibitor Promotion and fifteen articles. It is correct on the homepage and on nothing else.

The visitor registration form is not working

Fix in Strapi 1 page · every visitor who tries to register

Why it matters

The ticket form on /visitor-registration/ is not part of the site itself. It is a widget from the registration provider, dropped into the page’s text as a short block of code, and that code tells the widget which server to talk to. The server it names — wisent-live-api.hyve.ru — no longer exists. The widget still loads, cannot reach anything, and shows a single placeholder line (REGISTRATION_IS_UNAVAILABLE_TEXT) with no fields at all. Anyone who arrives to register for the show sees an empty band where the form should be.

Your Woodex site carries the same widget and it works, because its code points at the provider’s current address, wisent-api.itegroup.online. MiningWorld’s own registration code (257727) answers correctly on that address today, so the fix is one edit: replace the old server address with the new one in the widget code and republish the page. No developer is needed.

It is the only page on the site that carries the widget, so nothing else needs changing.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → Visitor Registration → the text block that holds the registration widget code

SettingCurrentlyChange it to
data-apibaseurlhttps://wisent-live-api.hyve.ru/api
https://wisent-api.itegroup.online/api

Where exactly. Open the Visitor Registration page in Strapi and find the block of code in the page text — it begins with <div id="app"> and mentions wisent. Change only the address in the quotes after data-apibaseurl. Leave the registration code 257727 and everything else exactly as it is.

The same fault on the summit site. The delegate registration page on summit.miningworld.ru carries the same widget with the same old address. It is covered in that site’s own report.

Verified. On 25 August the page’s code names the old address, and that address no longer exists on the internet at all. The new address answers correctly for registration code 257727, and the working Woodex form uses it.

Eight links inside the site lead nowhere

Fix in Strapi 8 links · 7 pages

Why it matters

Each of these can be clicked today, and each lands the reader on a “page not found” screen — or, for the last one, an “access denied” message — instead of what it promises. A dead link costs whatever the click was about to do: a stand enquiry, a look at the show, a technical form an exhibitor needs. Search engines quietly mark a site down for them too.

Five are an address typed slightly differently from the real one: /about-mining-world/, with a hyphen the page does not have, and enquire-to-exhibit for exhibiting-enquiry. Two buttons on the Lead Scanning page point at our internal preview copy of the site, which visitors cannot open. Every replacement address below was opened and checked before it went in the table.

The eighth is a file, not a page. On /exhibitor-resource-center/ the Download Technical Order Form button points at a PDF (Manual_Forms_MWR_2025_EUR_NG….pdf) that answers “Access Denied” — the file is no longer in your media library. Upload the current Technical Order Form to the Media Library and point the button at the new file.

Verified. Every address in the table was requested individually on 25 August: the middle column returns an error page, and every replacement loads normally. The PDF was requested directly and answers “Access Denied” while other files on the same server open.

Four links to other websites no longer work

Fix in Strapi 4 links · 2 pages

Why it matters

These point at other organisations’ websites, and the pages behind them have since been removed — in one case the whole website has gone. Three of the four are hotel booking buttons on Plan Your Travel, the page a visitor opens when they are ready to spend money on the trip.

One has a known replacement, given below. The three hotel links need a person to find each hotel’s current booking page, or to take the button off.

Where to change it

Strapi → the page named below → the link or button

PageThe linkIt points toWhat to do
/about-ite/Visit Website — under Woodexwoodexpo.comChange to https://woodexexpo.com — the address in the link is missing two letters. The same slip is on your Woodex, Weldex and ExpoCifra sites

/plan-your-travel/Book your Stay — Edge Seligerskaya-Moscowhiseligerskaya.ru/en/The page is gone. Link the hotel’s current site, or remove the button

The same hotels are on your other sites. Plan Your Travel on woodexexpo.com, weldexexpo.com, cifraexpo.com and electronicaexpo.com carries the same hotel buttons, and their reports list them too. Each site has its own record in Strapi, so the edit needs making on each.

Links that looked dead but are fine. More than twenty links refuse automated visitors and so failed our checker, but open normally for a person in a browser — the Hilton and Radisson booking pages, the ITE exhibitor catalogue, the Avtosila magazine and Small Business of Moscow on Partners and Sponsors, the Investopedia definition of ESG in the article on chemical reagents, and the research and standards sites linked from several articles (Grand View Research, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect, the ILO, ICMM). None of them is listed.

Verified. Each address was requested on 25 August: the two Accor pages answer “gone”, the Edge Seligerskaya page “not found”, and the old woodexpo.com domain no longer resolves at all. The replacement in the table loads.

Three articles exist twice, and a fourth tells Google it lives at a deleted address

Fix in Strapi 7 pages

Why it matters

Three articles have been published twice, at two addresses — the second copy has “-1” on the end. Google sees the same headline twice over, has to guess which to show, and splits whatever credit the article earns between the two.

A fourth article shows what happens when a duplicate is deleted without tidying up. “Important issues of labor protection in the magazine ‘Labor Defense’” has a canonical address set in its SEO settings — a note to Google saying “the real copy of this page is over there” — and it points at the “-1” copy, which has since been removed. Google is told the real article lives at an address that no longer exists, so it drops this one too. Clear that field and the article is back in the running.

For each of the three pairs, keep one and unpublish the other — or, where both are wanted, give each a headline of its own. When you unpublish a copy, check that the surviving article’s Canonical URL field is empty.

5

Two galleries are not on the Media Gallery page

Fix in Strapi 2 galleries

Why it matters

The Media Gallery page lists 19 galleries. Two more — Mining Conference 2024 and Mining Industry 4.0 Award Ceremony — are published and open at their own addresses, but neither the gallery page nor the menu links to them. A visitor browsing the gallery never sees them, and search engines find those two pages only through your sitemap.

The gallery section on that page shows whichever galleries were ticked when it was set up. Either tick the two missing ones in that list, or clear the selection altogether — with nothing selected the section shows every published gallery automatically, and future galleries appear on their own.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → Media Gallery → the Media section → Data

Verified. The live Media Gallery page on 25 August links exactly 19 galleries. The two above load at their own addresses and are both in your sitemap.

Three page titles are still working labels

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

The title is the blue clickable line in a Google result and the name on the browser tab. Three pages still carry the label they were built under — Form - Become A Partner, Form - Beyond the surface, Form - Sponsorship Enquiry — which reads as unfinished to a searcher and says nothing about MiningWorld.

46 pages need a description of their own

Fix in Strapi 46 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in a Google result. It is the sentence that decides whether somebody clicks you or a competitor, and it is the only part of a search result you write yourself.

28 pages have none, so they fall back to the homepage’s sentence — ten site pages, from About ITE to Terms of Visiting, and fifteen articles. Somebody searching for MiningWorld’s hotels or its sponsorship packages currently reads a line that mentions neither. Another 21 Media Gallery pages do have a description, but it is the single word MiningWorld, which gives a searcher nothing to go on.

The suggested wording below was written from what is on each page. It is a starting point, not a decision about how you want to sound — please read each one before you use it.

The 21 gallery pages follow one pattern. Photo highlights from MiningWorld Russia 2025 — the exhibition floor, stands and visitors at Crocus Expo, Moscow. Change the year for each, and swap the subject for the conference programme, the Mining Industry 4.0 award ceremony or the gala evening on those pages.

The fifteen articles need one sentence each. Each article has a short-description field (the Excerpt) that the site uses as its Google description automatically, so one sentence there does both jobs. They are the newer news items — the 2026 Leaders Forum, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s support, the list of participants, RIVS’s aeration units and so on; the full list is available on request.

Three of the 28 need no copy at all. /partners-sponsors-demo/ is being unpublished above, /exhibitor-list/ only forwards visitors to the exhibitor list, and the developers’ reference page is being hidden from Google by us — none of them needs a description.

777 images are heavier than they need to be

Fix in Strapi 777 images · 149 MB

Why it matters

Four in ten images on the site are heavier than 100 kB — 149 MB between them. Every visitor downloads these at full size, including anyone on a phone on mobile data, and Google counts page speed when it decides where to rank you.

Two thirds of the weight is gallery photographs: 539 of the 777 files, 95 MB, sit on the Media Gallery pages, and the Exhibition 2025 gallery alone carries 36 MB — its 99 photos (mnng25_…) weigh 112 to 764 kB each. Our browser check found 40 of them still blank after the page had finished loading; the files are fine, they are simply too heavy to arrive in time. Away from the galleries, Why Exhibit carries 11 MB, including the heaviest single file on the site — a 3.3 MB photograph of excavation machines — and Lead Scanning has four stock photographs of 0.6 to 1.4 MB each.

The site cannot shrink these by itself, so this is a re-upload in the Media Library rather than anything a developer can do. A free tool such as tinypng.com or squoosh.app does it well: aim for under about 200 kB for a large photograph, 300 kB for a gallery photo, and much less for a logo.

Start with the ones used on several pages. The sector pictures Mining_World_Sectors_Images_5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 (308–390 kB each) sit on six or seven pages apiece — the homepage, About MiningWorld, Why Exhibit, Why Visit, the sectors index and each sector’s own page — so compressing each one once improves every page it is on.

Then make it a habit. A minute spent compressing each new image before it goes into Strapi keeps the problem from growing back — the 2025 gallery shows how quickly one upload session adds 36 MB. The full list of the 777 files is available on request.

Where the number comes from. We measured every image the crawl found across all 289 pages: 777 files above 100 kB, 149 MB between them. Each file is counted once, however many pages it appears on.

White text on the brand orange is hard to read for some visitors

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

Your buttons — Exhibit and Register in the header, and the enquiry buttons in the page sections — use white text on the MiningWorld orange, and so do a few highlighted figures and headings. Measured the way accessibility guidelines measure it, that pairing scores 2.6 to 1 against a recommended minimum of 4.5 to 1: readable for most people, hard for anyone with low vision or a phone screen in sunlight, and a fail in any accessibility audit a large exhibitor or public body might run before partnering.

Nothing here is broken, and the site can stay as it is. But the fix is cheap if you want it: black text on the same orange scores 8 to 1 and keeps the brand colour exactly as it is; a darker shade of the orange, used only for buttons and small text, also passes; or you leave it, as a brand decision.

Where to change it

Tell us which option you prefer — the change itself is ours to make

What we need from you. Dark text on the orange, a darker orange for buttons and text only, or leave it. The same orange-and-white pairing is used across your other sites, including the summit — one answer can settle it for all of them.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

Google has no event details for MiningWorld

Alongside the visible page, a site can hand Google a short machine-readable summary of the event — its name, dates, venue and a registration link — which is what lets a search result show the dates under your link, or list MiningWorld when somebody searches for exhibitions in Moscow in April. That summary is empty on every page here. Your Woodex homepage record carries a complete example in its SEO → JSON_LD field: copy it into the same field on this homepage, change the name, the dates (27–29 April 2027) and the pavilion, or tell us and we will draft it for you.

Eight sector pages carry fewer than 140 words

Laboratory Equipment (77 words), Mineral Transportation (80), Construction Technologies (87), Water & Air Purification (89), Mining Safety (108), Exploration Equipment (113), Engineering, Design and Service (128) and Power Supply (136) each have a paragraph or two of their own copy; the other four sectors run to 430–540 words. A second paragraph on what is exhibited and who visits would help each one rank for its sector terms. Editorial judgement — your call which sectors matter most.

1,375 images have no written description

Every image can carry a short line of alternative text — read aloud to visitors using a screen reader, shown if the image fails to load, and the only thing Google has to go on in image search. A big job, so do it gradually: start with the homepage, the sector pages and Why Exhibit, and add a line to new uploads as a habit.

34 page titles are very short

About ITE, Media Gallery, Plan Your Travel, Terms of Visiting, Exhibition 2019. Google gives you roughly 60 characters and these use a fraction of it. Media Gallery | MiningWorld Russia 2027 works harder than Media Gallery, and costs nothing to change.

66 article titles are cut off in Google

Google shows roughly the first 60 characters of a title and trims the rest mid-sentence. 66 titles run past 60 characters and 104 headlines past 70 — several of the conference announcements run to 130–160. When writing future headlines, put the point in the first 60 characters; each article also has a separate Meta Title field if you want a search-only short version. 38 article descriptions are likewise a few characters over the 155 Google shows — only worth trimming if you are in the record anyway.

One article is a single sentence

“MiningWorld Russia 2024 Will Be Held As Planned” consists of one sentence, printed twice. Expand it or unpublish it — a near-empty page gives Google nothing to rank.

Four section headings are empty — add a title, or leave them to us

On About MiningWorld, Connect (twice) and Exhibitor Promotion a text-columns block has no title, so the page prints an empty heading. We are hiding empty ones on our side; if you would rather have a heading there, add a title to the block in Strapi and it appears.

A proofread of the most-visited pages

The crawler flagged possible spelling errors on every page; on inspection they are overwhelmingly brand names and transliterations rather than mistakes. Still, a human proofread of the homepage, the sector pages and the newest articles would catch the few a tool cannot judge.

What happens now

Fix the registration form today

One address in one block of code puts the ticket form back for every visitor. Nothing else in this report is as urgent — the page has been showing an empty band to anyone trying to register.

Then the links, the duplicates and the descriptions

The twelve dead links are mostly quick swaps — every replacement address we could find is in the tables, and the three hotel buttons need a quick search or a deletion. The duplicates, the demo page and the two galleries are a tick box each. The 46 descriptions are the biggest win for how the site looks in search; the ten drafted ones get you started and the galleries follow one pattern.

Read the suggested wording before you use it

Every title and description we have drafted is a starting point, written from what is on the page, not from your marketing plan. Change anything that does not sound like you.

Answer the one decision

What to do about white text on the orange. It can be settled once for all your sites. Reply to this report and we will action it.

We re-run the check

Once you have published your changes we run the same review again and send you a short before-and-after. No need to tell us when — just say the word.

Every item in this report was checked by hand against the live site on 25 August 2026. 288 pages were loaded one by one in a real browser, one page of each kind was swept again at phone width, and a separate search-engine crawl fetched 297 addresses, covering all 289 in your sitemap. Every dead link named here was requested individually, along with each suggested replacement, and the registration widget’s two server addresses were tested directly. Findings the scans flagged that turned out to be fine have been left out rather than passed on — including 40 gallery photographs reported as broken that were simply slow to arrive, and more than twenty links to other websites that refuse automated visitors but open normally for a person. Each page was loaded once, so this review found what it found; it is not a guarantee that nothing else is wrong. Suggested wording is a starting point: please read it over before publishing, and change anything that does not match how you talk about the event.
