The when and where of the show still disagree with each other

Fix in Strapi 5 pages, plus the header and footer of every page

Why it matters

This is the third report to carry the Event Details page. Under Timings of the Event it still lists Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th February 2026 — last year’s show — and under How to get to Crocus Expo? it still gives the address as Pavilion 2. The header and footer give 1–4 February 2027 in Pavilion 3, but four more places still carry other days: the When and Where block on Why Visit lists 3–6 February, and three articles promoting the 2027 show give it as 3–6 February 2027.

A correction to our September report: we suggested simply deleting the old timings because a correct Opening Times block sat higher up the page. That block is actually the site footer, at the bottom of every page. The Event Details page has no correct timings of its own, so the block needs updating rather than deleting. The footer has the right 2027 times to copy from.

New this time: the line under the dates at the top of every page, and the Venue line in the footer, both spell it “Pavillion”. Two fields, and the spelling is right on every page.

Where to change it

Pavilion 3 looks right. The header, the footer and your Russian-language site at airventmoscow.ru all give pavilion 3 for 2027; only the Event Details address says 2. If the hall has changed, tell us and we will check every other mention.

One line to check while you are there. The public transport directions say to take the metro exit to pavilion 2. That may simply be the name of the exit, so we have not changed it in the table — but please confirm it still suits a visitor heading for pavilion 3.

Verified. Read off /about-us/details/ and the shared header and footer on 2 October. The 2027 times above match the Opening Times already in your footer.

Your homepage and About Us still show the wrong words in Google

Fix in Strapi 2 pages

Why it matters

Every page has a title and a description that Google shows in its results — the blue line someone clicks, and the grey text under it. These two are the listings people see most.

The homepage description still invites people to “AIRVent Expo 2026”. It is saved in the homepage’s own SEO section in Strapi. Our September report said this sentence had gone from the site. It has gone from every other page, but not from the homepage, and we missed that.

About Us is the third report running. Its description was corrected in September, but its title still reads “Wholesale HVAC Parts & Supplies”, so anyone who finds your About Us page in Google is told it sells parts.

One article is still telling Google to ignore itself

Fix in Strapi 1 article

Why it matters

Every page has a setting called Canonical URL. It tells Google “this page is a copy — index that other address instead.” Left empty, the site fills in the page’s own address, which is right almost every time.

On this article the field names /articles/benefits-of-participating-in-air-vent-2025/, and that address shows “page not found”. So a real article is telling Google that its real version does not exist. This is the second report to carry it.

The fix is to empty the field. Nothing needs typing in.

Where to change it

Strapi → Articles → “Benefits of Participating in AIRVent 2025” → SEO → Canonical URL — clear the field

Three pages are live with almost nothing on them — one names the wrong show

Fix in Strapi 3 pages

Why it matters

Each of these is a heading and one sentence, with nothing underneath. All three are public and listed for Google.

The Matchmaking page introduces “Aquaflame Connect” — your co-located show’s name — on an AIRVent page. The Resource Center promises information on stand construction, requirements and freight “below”, and there is nothing below. The Conference Programme says it will soon be updated with the 2026 programme, but the 2026 show has already happened. The Conference Programme button on About Us leads straight to it.

Where to change it

Strapi → Pages → Matchmaking Service, Exhibitor Resource Center, Conference Programme

PageWhat a visitor seesWhat to do
/attend/matchmaking/“Aquaflame Connect introduces new matchmaking system to facilitate buyer and supplier exchange.”Correct the name and add the service details, or unpublish
/resource-center/“Streamline your AIRVent 2026 experience. Find crucial information on stand construction, requirements, and freight below.”Add the sections it promises, or unpublish
/conference-programme/“This page will be updated with details about the 2026 conference programme soon...”Change it to the 2027 programme, or a short “announced soon” note for 2027

The sentence is also the page’s Google listing. With nothing else on these pages, Google shows that one sentence as each page’s description, including “2026” on two of them. Adding real content fixes both.

Three images on every page have no description

Fix in Strapi 3 images · every page

Why it matters

Every image can carry a short written description. A screen reader reads it aloud to a blind visitor, and Google uses it to understand the picture.

The Aquaflame logo at the top of every page and the LinkedIn and YouTube icons at the bottom are all links, and all three have that field empty. Someone using a screen reader hears three unnamed links on every page. Our browser check flagged it on all 36 page types it tested that carry the standard header and footer.

A correction to September: we called the first image the site logo. It is the Aquaflame logo next to “Co-Located with”.

Thirteen pages are in Google that should not be

Fix in Strapi 13 pages

Why it matters

Ten are the thank-you pages people see after sending a form. One is new since September: the Why Russia thank-you page. Landing on one from Google means reading a confirmation for a form you never sent.

Three are demo pages. Two have a staff member’s name in the address. The third has exactly the same title as your real Partners & Sponsors page, so Google has to choose between them.

Ticking noIndex takes a page out of Google and out of your sitemap. The thank-you pages keep working for anyone who sends a form.

Where to change it

Strapi → each page → SEO → tick noIndex (or unpublish the three demo pages)

  • /about-us/contact-us/thank-you/
  • /become-a-partner/thank-you/
  • /exhibit-enquiry/thank-you/

  • /visitor-registration/thank-you/
  • /why-russia-thankyou/
  • /dynamic-block-pallavi/
  • /dynamic-block-prachi/
  • /partners-sponsors-demo/

Six of these have no SEO section yet. The Newsletter, Indian Compliance Report and Why Russia thank-you pages and all three demo pages have no SEO section in Strapi. Add one, then tick noIndex.

Still on /dynamic-block-prachi/. A raw HTML block on this page still contains three pasted header lines, including <title>Contact Us Form</title>, so the page has two titles. Unpublishing the page fixes that too.

Thirty-five links inside the site still lead to “page not found”

Fix in Strapi 35 links · 10 addresses · 28 pages

Why it matters

Same list as September, with nothing fixed or added. The pages these links were meant to reach all exist; the links still use old addresses. Twenty-eight of them are sector links in 23 articles, and every one needs the same fix: take /exhibit off the front.

A quicker first step, if you want one. Strapi already has a Redirects list, with one entry that forwards exhibit/sectors to sectors. Adding the eight old addresses above in the same format, with no leading slash, means anyone clicking an old link gets forwarded straight away, including visitors from other websites. Correcting the links afterwards saves them the extra step.

Join Leadscanning still needs a decision. There has never been a Leadscanning page on this site. Point the link at wherever Leadscanning lives, or remove it and the section around it. Tell us if you want us to build a page.

One from August is fixed. The homepage’s Download the post show report button now goes to the report page. Thank you.

Seven hotel cards on Plan Your Travel need attention

Fix in Strapi 7 of 15 hotels · 1 page

Why it matters

This is the page people use to book where they stay. Six of the “Book your Stay” buttons go nowhere useful. A seventh card describes a different hotel.

We opened every one of these in a normal browser as well as with our tools, because some hotel sites block automated checks but work fine for people. Radisson and Hilton are like that: they work, and are not listed.

Two more links to other websites are dead

Fix in Strapi 2 addresses · 15 pages

Why it matters

The Indian Logistics Partner logo links to yhcargogroup.com on 13 pages, including the homepage. The address exists, but the site never responds — in our tools or in a normal browser. This was on the August report too. The link is stored once on the partner record, so one edit fixes all 13 pages.

Twenty-nine pages need a description written by hand

Fix in Strapi 29 pages

Why it matters

The description is the grey text under your link in Google. It is what makes someone click your result rather than the one below.

The 24 pages that had none in September still have none. The nine sector pages matter most because people search for them. Their copy sits in sections the site cannot summarise automatically, so they have to be written by hand.

There are also five main pages with no description of their own. The site writes one automatically from the opening of the page and cuts it off at 150 characters, so Google shows a sentence that stops in the middle, ending in “…”. Why Visit currently stops at “…for ventilation, air conditioning, and…”.

The wording below is a starting point. We kept to facts that are on your own pages. Please make it sound like you before publishing; aim for 120 to 155 characters.

Galleries are different — and September pointed you to the wrong field. Gallery records have no SEO section, so their description comes from the Short Text field. It currently holds only blank spaces, which counts as empty. Text you add there also shows on the page as a one-line introduction under the title. Our September report said SEO → Meta Description for these; that field does not exist on galleries.

Sector pages need an SEO section first. None of the nine sector records has an SEO section yet. Add one, then fill in Meta Description. Their Short Text field is also just blank spaces.

The show’s headline figures change from page to page

We need a decision Decision

Why it matters

In August we asked which exhibition area was right. Since then the figures have drifted further apart. A visitor reading the homepage, a sector page and About Us now sees three sets of numbers for the same show. Some pages contradict themselves.

Most of these are probably the 2026 results, rounded or labelled differently. A year beside each figure, and one source for all of them, would end the confusion.

Where to change it

The brand blue is still hard to read — on buttons, and on page titles

We need a decision Decision · site-wide

Why it matters

Carried from August, and confirmed again by this browser check. White button text on your brand blue measures 3.3 to 1. The accessibility standard asks for 4.5 to 1, so “Become an Exhibitor”, “Visit AIRVent” and the download buttons are hard to read in sunlight, on older screens or for anyone with weaker eyesight.

One more problem, and a correction to August: we said the blue was fine for large headings. That is true for white headings on blue. It is not true for the blue page titles on the pale blue band at the top of most pages, such as About Us and Visa Support. Those measure just under 3 to 1, which is below even the lower standard of 3 to 1 for large text.

Darkening the blue slightly, to around #0072a6, keeps the same colour and passes in both places: about 5.3 to 1 for white text on the darker blue, and about 4.6 to 1 for darker-blue titles on its pale band. Or you can keep the current blue and accept the shortfall.

Where to change it

Tell us whether the blue can be darkened, and we will change it

What we need from you. Yes or no to the slightly darker blue. We can put a copy of the homepage next to the current one first if you want to see it. If the brand blue cannot change, tell us and we will close this item.

The pop-up tool is still refused on every page

We need a decision Decision · all 139 pages

Why it matters

Carried from August, unchanged. Every page loads a pop-up and email-capture tool. It has never shown anything, because airventexpo.com is not registered on the account the tool belongs to. Every page asks it for a pop-up, and every time it says no.

Visitors see nothing broken. The cost is a little speed on every page, an error in the background, and no pop-ups.

Where to change it

Tell us whether the pop-ups stay or go

The referrer site could not be found. It may not have been registered with OptinMonster. Domain provided: (airventexpo.com)The tool’s reply for airventexpo.com. We asked it directly on 2 October.

What we need from you. Are pop-ups still part of the plan? If yes, someone with access to that account registers airventexpo.com and we check that campaigns appear. If no, we remove the tool and every page gets a little faster. That removal is on our side.

If you have time

Worth doing, not urgent

None of these is a problem. They are the difference between a site that is correct and one that is polished.

Seven links take a detour, and one is written with http://

The Explore More button on About Us, Explore All Sectors on Why Visit, View all sectors on Why Exhibit and four article links point at /exhibit/sectors/. That old address forwards to /sectors/, so the links work, but each click goes through an extra page. Pointing them straight at /sectors/ removes it. In “How Smart Ventilation Systems Are Revolutionising Indoor Air Quality”, the “AIRVent expo inquiry” link starts with http:// — change it to https://, or just write /exhibit/exhibitor-enquiry/.

Four pages nobody links to

Accommodation and Transfers, Rules of Entry, Sponsorship Enquiry and Why Russia (“Beyond The Surface”) are published and in Google, but no other page on the site links to them, so visitors only find them by searching. Add them to a menu or a related page, or retire them. Rules of Entry also links to a coronavirus page on rospotrebnadzor.ru. We could not open it from outside Russia, and it may be out of date, so please check it yourself.

Headings inside articles

Twenty-seven articles use Heading 3 for their main sections and never use Heading 2. Search engines and screen readers treat Heading 2 as “a main section”. Use it in new articles; old ones do not need a special pass. Four articles also have an empty heading line, invisible on the page but read as an empty section. Delete it in: “Navigating the Eurasian HVAC Market”, “The Role of Sustainable Ventilation Systems in Reducing Carbon Footprints”, “The State of Commercial Refrigeration in Moscow” and “Ventilation Equipment Suppliers Driving Healthier Indoor Environments”.

Small fixes to a few descriptions

Five articles have no description, so the site writes one that ends in “…”. One of them is “AIRVent 2027 Visitors: What to Expect at the Exhibition”. Three articles and the Visitor Registration page have descriptions written by hand that run a few characters past where Google cuts off. One of them, on the A.N. Shokhin article, calls his organisation the “Eurasian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, while the article’s headline says Russian Union. Worth fixing that one.

Image descriptions across the rest of the library — about 786 images

Apart from the three images in the list above, most photographs have no written description, and most of those are in galleries. You do not need to go back through them all. Start adding a description to every new image when you upload it, so the number stops growing.

41 very short page titles, 8 very long ones

Titles such as “Tools”, “Services” and “Articles” use little of the space Google gives them. “HVAC Installation and Service Tools | AIRVent” tells a searcher far more. At the other end, eight article titles run past about 60 characters and get cut off. The longest is the Turkish Embassy article, at 118. Start with the sector pages.

Shipped: browsers are now told to always use the secure address for your site. The certificate fix from September is still in place

Hosting

New: every image goes to visitors at the size it was uploaded, even though Strapi already keeps smaller copies. We are switching the site to the smaller copies. On the 2026 exhibition gallery, that cuts 32 photographs from 37 MB to 1.4 MB. In our browser check, ten of that page’s photographs were still blank after the page had been given time to load. This replaces our September advice to re-save the photographs: you do not need to re-upload anything

378 images over 100 kB · 88 MB in total

New: the grey text at the top of every page — the venue line and the “Co-Located with” label — is too faint: 3 to 1 against the 4.5 to 1 required. We are making it darker. Nothing else changes

New: on phones, the menu button is an icon with no name, so a screen reader announces only “button”. We are giving it a label

New, with a deadline: the site’s security certificate expires on 1 November 2026. We renew it; there is nothing to do in Strapi. If it runs out, visitors see a full-page browser warning instead of the site

What happens now

Start with the dates and the venue

The Event Details timings, the Pavilion 2 address and the “Pavillion” spelling in the header and footer. People planning travel read these lines, and the show is four months away.

Then the quick ones, in about an hour

The homepage description and the About Us title. The canonical field on one article. Three image descriptions that fix every page. Thirteen pages ticked noIndex. A decision on the three near-empty pages.

Then the links

The 35 links inside the site follow one pattern: remove /exhibit from the front. The Redirects shortcut helps visitors straight away. Then the seven hotel cards and the two other outside links.

Then the 29 descriptions — sector pages first

The nine sector pages are the ones people search for. The eleven galleries take one pattern: write the first, then change the year. Remember that galleries use Short Text, not SEO.

Answer the decisions

The figures, the button blue, the pop-up tool, and where Join Leadscanning should go. Reply to this report and we will take it from there.

We re-run the check

When your changes are published, we run the same browser and search check again and send you a short before-and-after. Just tell us when.

This review was carried out on 1 October 2026. Unlike September’s, it includes a full browser check, compared against the last one on 26 August. All 139 pages in your sitemap were loaded once in a real browser. The accessibility scan and phone-screen checks ran on 37 representative page types, not every page, so the other 102 pages were not checked on a phone screen; the ones we checked had no layout problems. A search crawl covered 151 addresses. We followed every link on the site, and opened every outside link that failed our tools in a normal browser before listing it. Every item here was checked again on the live site on 2 October; forms were not submitted. We left out what turned out to be fine: gallery photos reported as broken that were still loading, a “broken menu” on the India landing page (which has no menu by design), errors from outside services, spelling and readability warnings, and sites such as Radisson, Hilton and the ITE exhibitor catalogue that block automated checks but work for people. Some accessibility work on our side has not shipped yet. We track it separately and have not repeated it here. Suggested wording is only a starting point: please read it before publishing and change anything that does not sound like you.
